nuclear deterrent

Postby Lordo » Tue Nov 12, 2019 1:18 pm

this seems to make the rounds every time there is an election.
is it really worth having a nuclear deterrent. does it serve any purpose or is it just for lining the american armaments industry. does it even work?

it was recently suggested that thatcher never actually said whether she would press the button or not. and yet every labour politician is constantly asked about this.

surely a deterrent is some sort of a system that can take control of the weapon once in the air and direct it out towards the sun. now that is what i call a deterrent.

Just keep your fingers crossed they will never manage to put in practice any of the "clean nuclear reactions"
There are hundreds of them...
Because if they ever manage such a thing be sure it's going to be used 100%. We are talking for totally clean reactions with no harmful radioactivity or nuclear waste. Just pure energy....
