Turkish proposal?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Are you saying that Turkey had a right to commit ethnic cleansing of 200,000 and the genocide of over 6000? Nobody can bve stupid enough to say that. It is not disputed that "technically' turkey had a right to intervene but only restore order not to grab land from refugees.

Firstly look up what ethnic cleansing means, we did not kill 200,000 people, its called re-location.

You cannot call war casualties a Genocide, its the most ridiculous, unlogical nonsense I have ever heard, combatents fighting each other and some of them being killed is not "genocide" its called war casualties, War is a terrible thing and innocent people can die in the cross-fire but is it genocide, get real.

What do you call the slaughter of Un-armed innocent Turkish Cypriots in a time of NON-WAR by Greek Junta whose aim was to ethnically cleanse the Island of Turks, make it pure Greek and annex the Island to Greece. Look up the UN definition for Genocide and have a think about it before throwing around words which you dont understand.

Turkey's not perfect, neither were the Greek Junta, if combatents had been left on the Turkish side it leaves the opportunity for more inter-ethnic violence which is not the aim of being a Guaranteur.

Firstly look up what ethnic cleansing means

Here is what it means:

The term ethnic cleansing refers to various policies of forcibly removing people of another ethnic group

The keyword here is "forcibly". Forced relocation of an ethnic group = ethnic cleansing. It is crystal clear to even a 5 year old.

No Turkish Cypriot was killed by junta in 1974 until the Turkish invasion had started. The junta was instead killing the Greek Cypriots that tried to fight against it. The great majority of Greek Cypriots and Greeks have never supported the CIA sponsored fascist junta. Turkey found the excuse to invade Cyprus and continued the invasion even after the junta had collapsed. 32 years after and Turkey is still illegally occupying Cyprus.

Nobody is excusing the criminal acts of junta. However you are excusing the criminal acts of the Turkish army and you give an excuse that ceased to exist 32 years ago to excuse even more crimes against us today!
