Turkish proposal?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Piratis » Wed Jan 25, 2006 10:53 pm

mikedaventry you have lot to learn about Piratis, he is hardliner who states human right and democracy for all as long as it is Greek Cypriot style and administered

Wrong. You are the ones insisting on tailored made "solution" to fit your illegal demands. All we ask for is what exists in every other EU country.

Since when is somebody asking for human rights and democracy considered "hardliner"?

being a minority just like any other

Why Kurds in Turkey are a minority just like any other (actually they straggle to be just like any other), while the TCs are not?

I never asked from TCs to "shut up". TCs are the 18% and they can have their 18% share of power, not the 50% as you demand which is obviously undemocratic which is the reason it exists in no other country in the world.

Oh please, please tell me what my illegal demands are. I honestly want to know.

I've clearly stepped over unwritten rules in this place, and I'm afraid I don't have the energy to go around in circles, while being insulted in the process.

As a moderator in this board, it you who should realise more than anyone that a forum is a place where people discuss their differening opinions. Just because someone thinks differently to you, it doesn't mean they are wrong. Just because I made an inkling of a comment favouring Turkish Cypriots, I was declared a Turkish Cypriot. When I said I was from neither Cypriot community, I was declared a supporter of the American and British official view, "of keeping our island divided for serving their own".

I would like to further point out that throughout our brief correspondence I have never been rude nor aggressive towards you, and had every right to expect the same treatment in return. This I have not received, and your aggressive behaviour has bordered on harrassment. Please go back and check right now. You will see that I have been courteous throughout.

I am most upset at my treatment here. I came hoping to gain insight into other people's opinion through healthy discussion, but your flatline refusal of everything I say makes that quite impossible. The fact that you had to point out that there is "no Turkish Cypriot government" is a clear indication of this: I know there is no internationally-recognised Turkish Cypriot government. Believe it or not, I know what I am talking about. In that particular case, you knew what I was talking about too, but you chose to simply dismiss me as one of the opposition.

I pay tribute to Viewpoint, who clearly has the patience I don't have.

Oh, and I really do want to know what my illegal demands are. Please?

Yes, you are hardliner and I have explained a thousand times to you why.

It is because you are not asking for human rights and democracy, you are asking for the abolition of the TRNC.

I too demand from the TRNC to restore the human rigts and properties of displaced refugees within a democratic framework. Your response to my demands was:

Good. Having people from the inside will make it much easier for us to end the illegal occupation. The reason they forced us out was because they knew they couldn't maintain an occupation with GCs among them.

Is this how you demand human rights and democracy? By agitating for an armed conflict and conspiracy agains the TRNC?

Mike this is normal rehtoric from Piratis, dont get disheartened, he does it to everyone it his way or the highway attitude does not allow him the vision to see the TC perspective, we are not even worth talking to as we are the cause of him not having a Greek Unitary Cyprus where we are classed as just any other minority in the world although we had a partnership agreement in 1960 which he holds so dearly today but denies us the right to demand a solution that would address our fears and concerns as he feels these are not valid and that we should just accept the GC style human rights and democracy which he chants in 99% of his posts.

I was replying to Viewpoint, not to you, since it is his post that I quoted above my reply.

Did anybody stop you from expressing your opinion? Or your problem is that I expressed mine?

If you knew then why you choose to support the illegal Turkish position and offend us? When you spit on the sovereignty of our country and our legal, human and democratic rights, then what kind of treatment do you want in return?

you are asking for the abolition of the TRNC

Something that does not exist can not be abolished. What I am asking is for the end of the illegal occupation of my country by Turkey.

Mike this is normal rehtoric from Piratis, dont get disheartened, he does it to everyone it his way or the highway attitude does not allow him the vision to see the TC perspective.

Viewpoint, you are the one who has the "your way or the highway " attidute since you continue your illegalities and violations of our human rights until your outrageous demands are satisfied.

we are not even worth talking to as we are the cause of him not having a Greek Unitary Cyprus where we are classed as just any other minority in the world

When did I say "Greek Unitary Cyprus" Viewpoint? You don't have any arguments and you are lying again? You are the one who keeps talking about "Turkish RNC" trying to illegally erase from the north part of our country the history of the great majority of its legal inhabitants.

You are an 18% and obviously you are a minority.

although we had a partnership agreement in 1960 which he holds so dearly today

Apparently for you the 1960 agreements are only the starting point for you to take more and for us to take less. No way. If you want to return to the 1960 agreements we are here waiting. You are the one who insists on the illegalities, not us.

but denies us the right to demand a solution that would address our fears and concerns as he feels these are not valid and that we should just accept the GC style human rights and democracy which he chants in 99% of his posts.

And your fears have to be addressed by giving to the 18% TC minority 30% of land and 50% of power? Maybe you want us to leave from Cyprus totally so you will feel safe?

The human rights and democracy that exists in every other EU country are "GC style"? Yes, Greeks invented democracy, but you are going too far with that.

Piratis, damn your joyfull music to Turkish Nationalists ears, your their best buddy, without realising it you do more for their cause then ANY TURK COULD EVER DO, what good is a Turk blabbering on, oh the Greeks are like this the Greeks are like this, most Turks have a brain and tell them to shut up, stop being so paranoid and behaving like a little child.

Then people like you come along, saying the EXACT rhetoric that Turkish Nationalists say you do, your the people they talk about lol, you make what they say seem a little more realistic, people think hey these guys have a point with all these Piratisi' around WHAT HOPE DO OUR PEOPLE HAVE.

So well done, your a Turkish pawn, without realising it your their greatest weapon, give yourself a pat on the back you make them proud.

Piratis
Since when is somebody asking for human rights and democracy considered "hardliner
"?

Human Rights and Democracy are just words my friend, there's a meaning behind them which your totally missing out on.

You are demanding what Turkish Cypriots will and wont have, its all up to you, your word is final, we can't listen to Turkish Cypriots because Piratis says so and Piratis feels angry and feels his cause is justified and Greek suffering is more meaninfull then Turkish suffering.

There's no democracy here mate, sorry.

Piratis
If you knew then why you choose to support the illegal Turkish position and offend us? When you spit on the sovereignty of our country and our legal, human and democratic rights, then what kind of treatment do you want in return?

Wake up man, if you remember Cyprus was a nation in 1960, yes neither Greek nor Turkish, just Cyprus where everyone was a Cypriot amazing dont you think.

Then along came EOKA and the Greek Junta then crazy plans such as Enosis was devised, then the idea that Turks werent allowed to live on the Island and the Island must become purely Greek began and it was carried out for 15 years in which they Destroyed the Constitution, and tried to tie the Island to mainland Greece.

But the events leading up to 1974 are totally overlooked by you and you accept us to take your idiotic view that, out of the blue, one day the Turkish Army said hey, I got an Idea lets invade Cyprus u know just for the Fun of it just to annoy Piratis wouldnt that be great.

This is the ludacrisly ridiculous story you accept us to swallow  I mean common get real.

If the Greek Junta hadnt embarked upon its crazy mission, (by the way, Piratis talks about Greek suffering, lets not forget for 15 years Turks suffered so much but this means nothing to him because we are "barbarians", sub-humans killing an animal isnt the same as killing a Greek who is a human being is it  ) and hadnt started rounding innocent villagers into enclaves, attacking and killing un-armed civillians and trying to tie Cyprus to Greece well then the Turkish Army would not have entered, this is human logic dont you comprehend?

They used a Guaranteur right which they legally had, the actions of the Greek Junta gave them a reason to enforce it can't you understand this.

Piratis
And your fears have to be addressed by giving to the 18% TC minority 30% of land and 50% of power? Maybe you want us to leave from Cyprus totally so you will feel safe?

Oh here we go again, could you show the demographic figures of today and include the Turkish Cypriots in Diaspora.

Also population is not an indicator to how much land they have, this is the most ridiculous theory, 18% deserve 18% land, well lets say that happened would you then be happy? and it it was more say we were higher population then you'd be happy to let us have more land.

This is a very silly idea, Turks will just go and have a baby-boom, one day they'll be 50% and then say give us 50% of the island, just think about your proposal deeply before making rash judgements.

Pirastis
Apparently for you the 1960 agreements are only the starting point for you to take more and for us to take less. No way. If you want to return to the 1960 agreements we are here waiting. You are the one who insists on the illegalities, not us.

Make up your mind and remember why this agreement is no more, think of a certain Junta who didnt approve, one you dont seem to be able to accept did anything wrong.
