I took Eftychia back to the vet's on Monday and apparently she is recuperating at an exceptionally fast rate and should be back to 100% within two weeks.

I sense she is hankering for the great outdoor life so, John, I would like to take you up on your kind offer, if it is still open. I feel responsible for making sure that the little girl is well done by, so would it be possible to call some time and check out the set-up so I can put my mind at rest that it will be a good place to bring her? Thanks.

Several total strangers have now managed to approach her and she has let them touch her, so there is hope that she can be tamed to some extent, although she is hissing at me now sometimes, too, so this may be a challenge.

Tim popped round earlier, had a nice chat,
Saw where I live and saw some of the cats that I look after. Soon he will be bringing his little cat over, im certain she will be well used to the place soon. My appartment , which is under daughter's house, always has its sliding doors open
Cats come and go as they please,
Big open space with a park across, cats are free, and happy to get their meals, loads of fish as well.
Happy that my grand children love animals ,
tbey will grow up knowing that animals have feelings too.

Pity, that excludes me then. :(

Unfortunately for you though, it seems you have to be able to spell correctly and employ better grammar than a 5 year old (certainly before lecturing other members on "education" ). Tough luck. :(

Sorry, I'm interfering with your endless personal blog again.

Apologies Milti.

I know, mate, and Effie wants a home. Problem is I have a lot on my plate and no time for this. If anyone else has time to call, take pictures and post them here, they are welcome to do so.

Precisely, imagine a cat on the smallish size, female, aged about one, mainly mid-grey on the top and white around the bottom and - hey presto. What worries me is I made her a couple of little dens where she could hide away and snooze, and it has been too successful because she is now spending all her time in them and I wonder if she is becoming more conscious as she heals and is finding herself in such an unknown, alien environment that she is terrified and has withdrawn in full, or if it is a natural instinct for an injured cat to hide away like this. Either way, it is causing problems with feeding, giving medication and, most vitally, assessing how well she is healing, especially now that she can pass into John's excellent care once she has the use of her hind legs again. She may not be the most suitable subject for photography, either, just now.
