Tim, I was surprised you give her tea.
That's toxic for cats.
Coffee is much more toxic though, when I was a kid one of my female cats couldn't stand on her feet so I placed her in a safe place together with her 4-5 kittens-all still breast feeding. I gave her a full cup of milk with some sugar and nescafe inside which she consumed quickly.
I couldn't understand how the next day both the mother and the kitten were all dead... :(
I learned the reason years later

Sorry, we use "tea" in British English for an early evening meal, especially when it's given to children. The "tea" in question was turkey+rabbit cat pate.

She actually got paralyzed because immediately after she gave birth a male cat F888 her.
Old ladies in the neighborhood said the female cat gets paralyzed when this happens.

My wishes for quick recovery!

My (limited) experience with vets is not good at all. Apart from vaccinations, castrations and usual things, they seem to be unable to deal with anything more serious. They would just put some injection to make the animal feel better temporarily but they wouldn't manage to save it. And if the animal doesn't die on its own they would offer "euthanasia", to take even more money from you.

My experience with vets in Limassol was very negative - until Marious Tornou opened his practice here in Agios Athanasios 6-7 years ago, and I started going there. He is marvellous.

There should be a reason, however it looks strange for a cat to get a broken back, as cats are very elastic.
I don't think she had a broken back anyway, most probably some thrombosis or infection
What do you think was the reason?
