...they were taking pictures of their home, but it is (illegally) occupied by a Turkish soldier.

...this is Cyprus, unfortunately "Turkishness" does not allow for any latitude in judgement it seems.

rw are you not aware that it is ilegal to take any pictures in any military zone. it is not becasue they were taking a picture of their house, it is becasue their house is in a military zone. i was taking a picture in a military zone and friend approched me and told me it is ilegal to do it when gcs on the other side of the buffer zone were able to take them with no problems. you are taking things out of context. you go anywhere in the world and take a picture of any military installation and see what happens.

You illegal military zones should not be their in the first place, so if you and them would just Fuck right off back to your stinking motherland, you would be doing us all a favour.

legality is at the point of the gun.
try going there ans taking a picture to test to make sure this so called legality is real or imaginary.

i get a feeling it is all virtual and yu have nothing to fear so really to test it by climing on a flag pole and that will prove it.

...sadly, people have to die for the sake of absolute intolerance; "they" wouldn't want mothers and daughters to have hope one day, or even a memory.

Indeed, a "Turk" lives in this home, no Cypriot would be so callous.

...yes Lordo Cypriots do live in each others homes, and "Turks" and "Greeks" do too; your point being?

Fact is this is another example of the difference between a Cypriot, and "them".

I have checked here in the UK it is illegal to take pictures of military zone however it is only illegal if there are signs stating the fact but having said that i think it’s a bit too harsh to arrest people. For fucks sake I could go on google earth and see every military compounds in the whole of Cyprus obviously not what’s hidden under ground but whatever the pictures were taken of could be seen via google earth from a birds eye view.
