It is however very accurate. Britain, as an empirical ruler did have its occasional flashpoints, but as a general rule it did not rule with a iron fist like the Soviet Union or China. Which is why in Hong Kong, university students are burning the Chinese Flag and Flying their old flag with the Union Jack. Ponder that for a second.

Britain, as a general rule, respected self rule and they would have done the same thing in Cyprus if only we were more patient with them and didn't give them a hard a time. Things in Cyprus could have been very different.

So in my view, Britain has a lot to be proud of.

However, Britain now is faced with the same problem. It is part of a totalitarian empire that has the power to implement laws in Britain and they are fighting for their independence.

All freedom loving people's of this world should be supporting Britain's quest to rid itself from these shackles of slavery and bondage which is the EU.
