by the end of next week b'stard will know whether he will have a deal withthe eu or not. then the real show will begin. yesterday he was saying it is either my deal or no deal today he is begging the eu that if they want to they can compromise.

the man is demented and way out of his depth. he should know that you cannot square a circle. either you are in a customs union or you arenot, either you adhere to eu regualtions or you do not. time tomake up yourmind baby.

how ironic that this was a eurovision song.

I just used Cyprus as an example to prove to you that a trade deficit does not translate into Government debt. I explained to you that the majority of trade occurs from business and individual consumers.

If it did translate into debt, Cyprus Government debt will increase by 5 to 6 billion Euros per year. That is not sustainable at all.

What translates into debt is when the Government spends more than it raises in tax and other income.

I am just trying to help you.

The issue was not about that but for the loss of culture.
As for the trade deficit yes it does translate into debt when you can't cover it fromother sources be it foreign investment or Services
The whole point was that there is no valid basis to expect the UK to reduce it's trade deficit or increase it's services sector.

That was not a criticism about Cyprus. That is concern.

I feel concerned that Cyporus will indeed lose its culture over time. Not only will it lose its culture, but eventually the Cypriots will lose politically and I don't wish to spell it out for you although I would be happy to PM you.

No the trade deficit does not translate to debt at all unless you are specifically only talking about trade conducted by the Cyprus Government which is only a very small proportion of the total trade.

Most global trade is conducted by Corporations and businesses. Even individuals like us trade when we buy stuff over the net. The item we are buying is coming from somewhere overseas and hence that is trade. For example, fuel which is a big item for any country is imported to Cyprus from major Fuel Suppliers like Shell, BP etc and are distributed to their Cypriot wholesalers in Cyprus which is then sold throughout the island's supply chain. The Government would buy very little from that other than what it needs for the Military, to run essential Government Services such as police, health system and so on. Even JETA1 is supplied to the airports from Shell, and BP to their Cypriot wholesalers who on sell to their Airport Fueling Agents.

If trade deficits translate to debt, then Cyprus is literally a Bankrupted State.

I posted the evidence and there is a lot of evidence on the net that supports what I said.

If you disagree with fact, then perhaps you should stop posting because you would appear foolish otherwise.

There is no zone on the planet that the EU outperforms other than perhaps level peg with Latin and Central America if they lucky. Everyone else is kicking EU Arse!

Thank heavens we have commentators now that tell us the truth.

You know, the "fascist", "racist" and "sexist" commentators straight from the KKK who the elites are trying to silence and de-platform in a constant war against free speech and democracy of which the EU is leading the charge.

Video is relevant considering the stupid debate by the remoaners who were criticizing Boris for inflammatory language which in their mind increases the chance of violence. but of course its ok to call those they are against as fascist and racist and KKK and Nazi Party members. But it's not ok for Boris to call the Benn Act as the Surrender Bill...

This is remoaner logic for you.

BTW. the term remoaner is not used to define all remain voters in the referendum. British Citizens have every right to vote remain. The vast majority of these remain voters are happy to accept the verdict of the referendum. Many remain voters as a result are now Brexit supporters because they are democrats above all else and want this over with. The remoaners are those responsible for the Parliamentary Coup against the Government and the referendum result and those who refuse to accept they lost the vote. For democracy to work, one side must accept defeat and the remoaners refuse to accept the result of the biggest vote in British history.

Oh that's awesome! Brexit Party MEPs turn their back on the EU "Anthem"

Let's be very clear about this, to have a National Anthem you must be a Nation like Britain is. The EU is no Nation so how can they have a "National Anthem"?

The British MEPs should have sung the British National Anthem instead! BRAVO! BRAVO! :D :D :D

Make no mistake about this folks, but paphitis being a complete % and uncompromising and fierce DEMOCRAT who always applies the rule of law and the divinity and sovereignty of the voting public spits on the EU and will support Britain without let or hindrance because Britain is right.

Not only does Paphitis spit on this so called "EU" but DEMOCRAT Paphitis will support any EU member which decides to break free from its occupation, whether that be Hungary, Poland, Italy or Spain.

Death to the EU! Death to the Eurozone and bring back the Drachma and Cyprus Pound NOW!

Nationalize the Central Bank, the currency and take ownership once again, and close down the borders and the GREEN LINE BUFFER ZONE! It's been open for far too long and we are no closer to a solution and there is a lot of illegal trade and narcotics coming through so its a case of crime and illegal substance reduction. :D
