Unless there is an agreement with the EU for Free Trade, the UK will protect its own sovereign Single Market as NI is part of the UK. This of course Trumps EU requirements as the UK is indeed a sovereign country whilst the EU is nothing of the sort.

Bye bye EU and good riddance - you are a bunch of criminals end of story.

Happy upcoming Independence Day UK. :D

Britain is giving the rest of occupied Europe hope.

You have such hostility towards the EU, it is hard to understand, unless you were rejected by the EU on some matters personally. Would you like to share?

Haven't been rejected by the EU. Got an EU passport through Cyprus.

But, the reason for my hostility is this. I feel extremely uncomfortable with this form of globalism. I prefer each Nation to maintain it's own cultural customs, traditionalist values. As a typical Australian, I also believe in small Government and complete freedom and democracy.

Which brings me to the next part. The way the EU has behaved in trying to circumvent the vote in the EU like they have done in other EU countries in the past to me is a attack on democracy I can't tolerate.

I believe the UK is in the right here. They want out and the people decided. It's their right and I support them breaking free.

Inshalla mana mou amin tziai pote :D :D
Did you buy the champagnes Paphitis?
I will be here celebrating that blessings day with you.

As a Cypriot I got used to pseudo independence days, when half the population is celebrating and the other half is crying.

You celebrate for the wrong reasons. You want despair and loss to be inflicted on Britain. You are not a democrat, but I am a democrat and uncompromisingly so.

I want Britain to get out and perform better than the EU and I believe it will perform better than the EU itself.

I see you are brushing up on your Arabic. Good work! It will be very handy for you one day.

I think this is a 2 edge sword for Pootin.

he does not like the EU, so on the one hand he may like the EU to go down, but on the other hand he won't like seeing a more independent and free UK either.

We should celebrate BREXIT Day with a Souvla as democracy is victorious.

Why is this Pakistani so happy  :?:

He isn't a Pakistani. He is Persian.

His Mother had to flee the Iranian Regime as a political dissident as she was continuously imprisoned for subversive behaviour against the Islamic Regime. His family were I guess you can say, supporters of the Shah!

He is a member of the Tory Party and was interviewing an esteemed Tory member and qualified Lawyer who is an Advisor to Boris. He seems to think that the Benn Bill has no legs and that is the reason why he is happy.

Boris also confirmed that he will be sending the EU an ultimatum as follows: if the EU do not accept the British proposals which his Government submitted, then Britain will be leaving on the 31st of October with no deal. :D

manchild is going to propose checks in about 5 or 10km from the irish border as a solution to the hard border problem of the backstop and brexit.

That's no solution to the backstop and he knows it.
EU's position was always that it will all depend on how the negotiations would end up in 2 years+ making whatever backstop arrangements not necessary. I doubt the EU would even accept the Irish sea border without a backstop condition.

I don't think you understand.

You see, the EU is not a country and is in no position to be seeking solutions that would protect the integrity of the common market whilst compromising the integrity of the common market within a sovereign country like the EUY.

Therefore, tell the EU to FECK OFF! No one cares!

Britain will protect its own common market within its own sovereign borders and Junker and can can jam it!

Yes they are a bunch of criminals alright!

How Dare they!

Yep that was indeed a fantastic speech.

Even under so much pressure, his charm and intelligence still shines through. This can only attract more voters. he is looking very good.

Great sense of humour too.

cyprus47049-590.html#p887813

Which imo has high chances of been accepted by the EU.
The smart thing about it, is that it would preserve the gfa up until 2025 but from their on shift all responsibility on the shoulders of NI. Which of course would by then have no choice other than joining the EU as part of Ireland.

If you listened to the entire speech then you would see that he is sending the EU an ultimatum to accept the British proposals or there is no deal and Britain leaves on the 31st.

The UK will NEVER be threatened by the EU to compromise its own sovereignty and market in NI.

It's game over unless the other traitors pull a hat out of the bag and have a no confidence vote.

A democrat would support the people having a valid say in both if we should leave and how we should leave. To argue that the people (a majority) can only have a say in if we leave and not in how we leave is not view that is compatible with the democratic ideals you profess to hold.
