Paphitis gets a lot of vilification. It strikes me though that this sort of thread would be terminally quiet but for his inputs. Unless of course people are happy with everybody saying the same things. :?

Can the same not be said about Lordo ? Call me a cynic but there does seem to be some kind of double standard going on here based on if the person supports your view or not ?

Lordo is Lordo :D And yes, of course he’s obviously also a prolific poster. There’s a subtle difference though. Much of what Lordo posts could be regarded as stand alone. Thus my earlier references to his blog. Moreover, he doesn’t come in for anywhere near as much in the way of abusive responses, which seems unfair. Although, I try to do my bit. Sorry, I forgot your disdain for Smilies. Ohh...........no I didn’t! :eyecrazy:

Sorry remind me again how 'project fear' works ;) Remind me again who is really of the elite and protecting the interests of that elite against the interests of 'the people' ;) While you are at it remind me again how and why the likes of Fox news, the telegraph, the daily mail, the sun are not part of the 'MSM' ? ;)

There is a subtle difference and then there is the elephant in the room difference. Hardly surprising that you appear to ignore the elephant in the room whilst seeking out the 'subtle'. ;)

Says who ? In what range ? In what time period ? In regards to what subjects ? All the data is there by which your claim could be tested but I guess that is not your 'style' to worry about such things. Look at the 15 years in which both have been posting here across all subjects and I recon your claim that Lordo does not come in for anywhere near as much in the way of abusive responses as Papahits would be shown by real hard actual data to be bollocks. ;)

As ever you misunderstand me and the point I made. I have no disdain for smileys. I simply pointed out that it probably says something about those posters who use them to a degree that is greatly atypical compared to their average use and pondered what it might say about such posters.

No, there’s no misunderstanding. Searching obsessively through 50 of somebody’s back posts ( in 7 minutes? ) and meticulously counting Smilies. Then calculating an average isn’t something to be misunderstood. But look - I’ve got you using them now.

What you don’t have here is my being dragged into ever more extensive posts “addressing your points” on the matter.

FWIW though:

If it’s Corbyn and “change” you desire I think Mr McDonnell (the puppet master) has ideas right up your street. Whilst I believe it’s highly unlikely, I find the idea of a majority Labour administration very seductive. Although you out”n”out Trots in here have made your views clear, the vast majority of people who’ve been bitching so vociferously about Brexit all this time will suddenly discover themselves in a place they really didn’t expect/want to occupy. From here it would make for 5 delicious shadenfreude years to be savoured. Having gotten out myself that is - in all senses. :D

Why is it Project Fear? We know that Socialism has never worked anywhere - ever... What makes you think it will work this time...?

And I think you'll have to dig very hard and deep to find any comment from me suggesting that Fox news, the telegraph, the daily mail, the sun are not part of the 'MSM'...
