Nahh. I'm boringly normal actually.

Hmm... that reminds me of 90%+ of the population who is so "boringly normal" that spend their time sending hearts and kisses and emoticons to each other for their birthdays/wedding anniversaries/weddings/birth of a child etc on Facebook.
I guess you are different from those "boringly normal" Facebook guys, but I can't figure out in what way. :?

The answer is 'no' of course, the companies paid the taxes due in laws created and presided over by the Tories you loathe and your beloved socialist friends in Labour...

Companies aren't in business to pay taxes, they are set up to make profit. Of course they arrange their finances to reduce the tax burden to a minimum. I certainly did when I ran my business...

But Socialists like you have no understanding of business, you think they should pay more tax than the law requires - hell, they should be taxed on their turnover, not their profit!

Tell me Socialist Boy, HMRC have a system whereby you can pay more tax then you are legally required to. A sort of voluntary contribution to the government. I presume you send them a cheque every month when you get your pay packet...?

No? I thought not...

It is surprising how few Socialists that call for more tax (because reasons) choose to use the service that is available to them to do so...

What you say is generally true. However look at the Scandinavians. They do allow large companies to grow with a generally high corporate tax of about 20% but when it comes to personal earnings the taxes go as high as 60%. As a result most billionaires settle to a certain wealth and from there on they transfer the company's earnings to employees via bonus, free vocation, higher wages, donations to charities, research centers etc. It proved successful although it's actually some sort of a socialist system.
Everything is almost free in Sweden. From housing, to education, to medical care.

The House has passed the Letwin bill !! What a bloody mess. It now looks as if The Clowns Brexit deal will not be passed . The Clown has said he will not ask the EU for an extension so its more likely that the House will replace him with someone else who will. In the meantime its reported that thousands are outside Parliament demonstrating demanding a second referendum.

" MPs have backed a rebel amendment that would throw Boris Johnson's Brexit plans into disarray by forcing him to seek an extension from the EU."

Yep it looks it will be rejected. Gone are my dreams to celebrate that blessed Brexit day together with Paphitis.
A 2nd referendum was always the solution, as a remedy to the mess of the 1st referendum that was asking the people to vote for the unknown...
Oh well, never mind, nobody can defeat logic.
