Of course I can. But I am not going to waste my time scanning a Greek document and translate it in English just for you, considering your attitude. The best I can do is just advice you to do a Google search of your own. After that I may bother to elaborate on your OWN findings.

So, when you said “In case you doubt what I said, I can prove it to you”, you didn’t actually mean it? :?

I see. Say no more. Well, you’re not of course.

No, I meant it but changed my mind because of your attitude.
I am surprised you can't deliver a simple Google search of your own.
You are you afraid of? There's a possibility you might prove me wrong :o

You’ve “changed your mind” because it’s another instance of your making a hyped up claim which is unsupportable. You made it, you offered to prove it but the silence now is deafening and it’s meaning obvious.

Well as far as you have to force me in to your fictional binary box of 'remoaner', in the process denying me the ability to express myself and my views and opinions in any meaningful way, you have started with a fallacy. I have watched the video.

The general thesis that both the referendum result and trump getting elected president were the result of a 'backlash' from vast numbers of the population that felt ignored and disenfranchised for decades is not one I would disagree with and for me is so plainly the case that it hardly needs to be said.

However the 'partisan' nature of the video is also, for me, clearly shown as well. I see it in the use of well worn, well used, over egging of the pudding, expression like describing the 2016 referendum result as the "The biggest democratic mandate in British political history".

The population of the UK in 1975 was 56,225,000. In the 75 referendum 17,378,581 'ordinary people', or 30.91% of the UK population, voted to remain in the EEC. In 2016 the population of the UK was 65,648,000 and in the 2016 referendum 17,410,742 'ordinary people', or 26.52% of the UK population, voted to leave the EU. I personally consider a mandate from 30.91% of a population to be a bigger mandate than one of 26.52%. It is true that out of the three national referenda ever held in the UK the turnout in the 2016 referendum was the highest out of those three. However the turnout in the 2016 referendum was lower than that of general elections in 1992, 1987,1983,1979,feb 1974, oct 1974. 1966, 1964,1959.1955, 1951 and on and on and on backwards. The claim that the 2016 referendum represented the "The biggest democratic mandate in British political history" to me just does not stand up to scrutiny. So when people use such a claim, expressed as some kind of 'truth' I have to question what is going on and the sincerity of their argument.

Later in the video there is a talking head making the point that often Trump supports / Leave voters are talked about as a singular block with 'no other nuance with these voters'. This is a phenomenon that I personally think is very real and has much about it that is problematic. However it is also something that those that have produced the video consistently do themselves, over and over in terms of those who did not vote for trump or to leave and with binary categories like the 'liberal middle class'. What is more it is something that I think you yourself consistently do here CyprusGrump. You constantly create the impression that you think that those who voted remain all have an agenda of reversing that decision, yet I know that is not true of myself. So, ok maybe I am lying. You also push the notion that all those who voted remain just use 'project fear arguments' yet can you find a single instance of me personally, as someone who voted remain, actually doing this ? That 'remainers' label all those who voted leave as 'racist' or 'stupid' or 'ignorant' yet can you find a single instance where I have done this ? When someone complains that something is being unfairly done to them whilst themselves doing exactly the same thing to others and often to a much greater degree, then again I have to question what is going on and the sincerity of their complaint.

Then we have the repeated use of 'ordinary people' and the attachment of that label to 'trump supporters and leave voters'. I am an 'ordinary person' as are the vast majority of the 16,141,241 people who voted remain in the 2016 referendum.

Then we have the common 'meme' that should Trump get impeached or should Brexit get reversed , there will be 'civil war'. Is this not itself, in some ways and some degree a form of 'project fear' ?

So having not just watched the video but then also taken the time and trouble to expresses my individuality , my opinions on it and the ideas I think it is promoting, how do I think you, as the person who presented it and predicted that it would not be watched by remainers and who also complains of not being heard or listened too by 'remainers', will respond ? Will you 'hear' my voice ? Engage with the points I raise ? Offer your individuality and opinions in reverse, in a spirit of mutual respect ? Or will you just, having presented the video, seek to ignore and dismiss my opinions with a quip and or complaint at the length of my post ? I know which I think is the more likely response from you if past history is any indication of future behaviour.

If you make a contentious statement, which is challenged, then you offer to prove it, you should do so. A simple case of put up or shut up. Here, you’ve chosen the latter and the meaning of that’s clear.

It isn’t up to me to prove the veracity of your claims. It’s up to you.

You said “in case you doubt what I say, I can prove it to you”. You haven’t though, because you can’t. It not possible to prove something which isn’t true. Ohh, sorry, you’ve “changed your mind”. 20/40/8 million.
