Wrong RW, this day in 1960 we had a pseudo independence with a cancer (read TCs) attached to us, to grow and bring us to where we are today.

It is certainly worth a read and thank you once again.

It just goes to show that there are good people on both sides of the divide. We have more in common than some seem to think.

The quicker the island is unified the better off we all will be and that is for both GC and TC alike.

Unfortunately, Turkey remains uncompromising but there are more things swinging towards us. The question is, is it enough?

In the meantime we must soldier on and one day we will defeat Turkey. Hopefully more TCs will realise that their countrymen are other Cypriots like the GCs. Cyprus is a jewel and it is our home.

I think there has been enough water under the bridge to heal old wounds and move on towards the unification but for as long as Turkey is in the picture it remains very difficult.

I for one understand where you are coming from but I also understand the pain of B25 which we all feel.

I know you were uprooted and understand your feelings too.

We may come from opposite sides of the spectrum and you may not agree with many things I say but I get you completely.
