if you want to see an example of why a unitary state does not work in certain countries have a look at india. a stupid decision to remove the special rights kashmiris had living in their own country removed will lead to violence and perhaps even two countries that have nuclear weapons going to war.

it sounds perfect but in practice it is far from perfect. half the world is on federal structure and they work better than unitary states. in cyprus we do have greek speakers and terggish speakers and you will not unify them for at least a whole generation being taught both languages. i can see most of the tcs would learn greek, what percentage of gc would learn terggish do you reckon.

there is zero chance of unified state working from past experience. we had a unified bi-comunal system which the gc refused to implement and have been telling you since that it did not work. hell first implement it and let it breath before you come to that conclusion not create a plan and try to drwon them by driving them into the sea.
