...and how many times have i asked about the Communal Chamber? Why is it that the "Turks" (and the "Greeks") utter not a word about it?

Indeed, if there is a Federal Government representing Cypriots as Cypriots, there is still a need for self-representation as distinct identities. Where is the Greek-Constituency, you might ask? In any case, the Turkish Constituency has no equal at present.

i am bored with the stupidy of the gc claims that in some way gcs will be under the control of terggy. this is as good as the argument brexiteers make about not being allowed to make indidual trade deals of our own in the eu and by some magic trick once outside we will be able to make indivdual trade deals with germans and the french. all bullshit so is the gc position.

on one sade they claim that bbf gives tcs and terggy ability to control gcs and yet we are governed by the same rules so if tcs can forcetheir will onto the gcs then surely gcs using the same rules will be able to force their will on the tcs and in retrun terggy.

how the fuck can they claim that milk is balcka and white at the same time.

give it up gcs don't even understand what it means to share power. when they do we can start talks for a bbf system in the meantime it wil have t be a two state solution.

i have a dislike for flags, will not stand within a mile of them. it is a symbol of nationalism, war and division. burn all the flags is what i say.

interesting that the reason india removed the special status of kashmir is to help them develop. and the first action they took in helping them to develop was to poor in thousands of troopls, cut their access to the internet and cut of their electricity as well as lock down so they cannot mobe arounf. with friends like griik sheepriots oohps i mean india who needs enemies.

Ohh! I think there will be a unified Cyprus. unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. That being money and gas exploration. As stated previously the RoC needs to drop the greek flag and Greek Rhetoric.

resources if distributed fairly can be a unifier but it is not in the greek cypriot mentality to be fair to the tcs.

in the sixties the government decided to reduce construction of a two lane road to a tc village to a single lane instead. makarios boasted that he saved hlaf the construction costs to which papadopoullos replied, nope we wasted half the construction money.

if anything resources will actually destroy any prospects of any unification. you have to be realistic. wishing it wil not make it so.

i was about to say i have gone past caring but what the hell.

first you have fair equitable exchange of private properties, add it to governent properties for the tcs and the percentage you get is how the resouces should be shared.

but why do i think you will say 18% - since when have we owned exact amount of property per person. 18 percent population does not equal 18% of land. in the uk, 1% of population owns 50% of the land, nobody says jack shit about it being unfair.

I really don’t understand how you derived to that conclusion.

I would have thought that a fair spread of the resources would be a universal income for all adults and child payments for each child. Free education right through to university studies, free child care for working parents, better working conditions ie 6 hour days. high speed rail system linking all cities and regional areas, (so good and frequent that people are encouraged to leave the cars at home and use public transport). They can use Re unification to actually plan new towns and suburbs incorporating parks, public spaces and appartments.

Develop regional areas so you don’t get over crowded seaside cities.

A good road system linking Trodos mountains to cities with 4 lane highways ... but remember the railway system will be so vast and effective roads will hardly be used.

Free health care

Free aged care services including accommodation.

I don’t see it as 18% vs 82%
