this does not sound good for bojo or trumptsouro. well said oliver.

Panic gripped Wall Street on Wednesday as investors fled shares amid fears over a US-China trade war and the health of the global economy.

The three main stock markets closed 3% down, with analysts pointing to signals the US may be heading for recession.

Analyst Oliver Pursche, from Bruderman, said the global picture was precarious.

"What's happening in Hong Kong, what's happening with Brexit and the trade war, it's all a mess," the chief market strategist said. "Every central bank around the world is trying to prop up economies and every politician around the world is trying to destroy economies."

Really! Sure you are not exagerating here.

The ASX 200, Dow Jones, and NASDAQ are at all time record highs even with a 3% fall, our super funds are basically printing money right now! 8)

Bottom line, Paphitis is getting rich! 8)

Yanks have never done that or forced their standards on us, especially when our standards are sometimes higher than their standards.

Americans are all about business. they will do business with you if you want to do business with them. The big picture is always capitalism and the movement of free trade.

lets go back to 1945. churchill supposedly won the war.

this how churchil run his election campaign. his popularity rate at the start was over 70%. his campaing slogan was:
The Conservatives' appeal to the nation under the slogan "Vote National - Help him finish the job" was based around Churchill's personal popularity and as such found itself out of step with the public's new mood. Churchill and Tory media mogul Lord Beaverbrook based much of their campaign rhetoric on the dangers posed to democratic institutions by Labour's proposals for a welfare state and the nationalisation of key industries. Churchill even went as far as to stay that if Labour were elected it would need to "fall back on some kind of Gestapo" to implement its policies. Ironically the Conservative manifesto A Declaration of Policy to the Electors offered many policies similar to those of Labour.

and of course the people saw through that, he had no intention of doing anything for the working man. and the rest is history. he won a landslide.

how many here realise what the 1945 labour government gave us

The prospect of a national unity government, once the Clown has lost a no confidence vote, has helped push the pound up a little. The Clown must be stopped , he can not endanger the nations economy by pushing for a no deal Brexit. He is , the Clown, only concerned about his idiotic self, he relishes the comparison that some fuckung idiots are making with Churchill.
The Clown is and always was and will be a fucking buffoon. An embarrassment for the nation. Get rid of this fucking idiot the sooner the better.

Oh dear! A no confidence vote is a pretty brave thing considering the guy has record popularity and just went up 9% on the IPSOS poll.

Churchill led the country through WW2 and was probably the only leader who can do that because he was always positive and upbeat and gave the people hope.

BOJO is very similar in many respects in that you will NEVER see a negative or defeatist word uttered from his mouth and is therefore extremely patriotic, loyal, and also has a self deprecating style of humour which appeals to people. He, is a leader that is required and necessary for Britain to execute a job handed to him by the people to deliver and he will now deliver. he gives the country hope.

the difference is we are not at war as a country the tory party is at war with it self.

fact is churchil got slaughtered in 1945 election. there was churchil running over 70% personal popularity and the result was
labour 393 votes
tories 197

with bojo in charge the tories are likkely to lose about 100 seats. that will put them about the same level as 1945. but this time on the other side of 200 mps.

bojo is full shit and will slaughtered in the election worse than may. and there is no may, if or but well on second thoughts perhaps there will be a but it will be bojo's butt that is going to be kicked.
