Greek flag disappointment

Postby Humanist1 » Sat Jul 20, 2019 11:27 pm

I aapreciate the Greek flag has gone synonymous with Cyprus and i understand the context. I do pain though to still see it hanging in a Church within the 1974 invasion I believe that in an age where the President is asking the leadership in the occupied Cyprus to attend a conference to still have the Greek flag hanging. We need to take first steps to illustarte to compatriots in the occupied North we mean Unification.

When our “compatriots” in the north decide to take down their giant circus-lit douchebag pac-man on the mountain we’ll ask the church which is a private institution and not controlled by the govt to take down their dinky little Greek flag.

so ang on a minute my short sighted friend. are you claiming that there were no greek flags in cyprus before the monster on the mountain side appeared?

secondly there is at least two mountains sides that has a greek flag in the south and other one which says enosis.

come for once make a decent comment which is logical and correct.

the idea that if the flag on monodhatilo mountain goes the gcs will remove their greek flags is hogwash and you know it. some of us live in cyprus in the sixties and saw the greek flags all over long before 1974.

now stop being an ass and post something worthwhile.

The flag of Cyprus was always the Greek flag. Its only when the British pigs decided to cause the separation did they have a competition that was fixed for the TC to win that came up with what is deemed to be a pathetic flag of today. I mean what other country's depicts the shape of their land???

DT, you expect too much of these barbarian shit heads to remove such a monstrosity from our mountain.

No it wasn't B25

This is the official flag since 1960

Before that it was British Cyprus flag

Before that it was the Anatolian sh** rag (Ottoman version) whatever that was.

Before that it was the Lusignan Kingdom of Cyprus flag (middle ages)

Before that it was the Byzantine Empire flag

The Balkan Greek flag has never officially represented Cyprus.
