That's childish mate. This is just a police matter.

en o noussou dje ksigollisen rah shilla dou varvaru. the police were there and did nothing to stop it even when they were chased on the main road trying to drive them off the road and cause an accident. it is as much a police issie as was the attack on talat in limasol when the police chief was called in to account for the lack of action of his men.

your problem is that it is your mates that are doing this and you cannot even bring yourself to condem them gavole.

...really Lordo, you should re-read your post. Talat? The Police Chief was fired.

And worse, i ask what of Sener Levent, who was fired for that disaster? Indeed, how shameful is that, that a man like Low has no Justice?

...is this really a matter where a whole society can be judged; compared to what?

Indeed the rose is not as sweet to a Cypriot, while this "Greek"/"Turk" dysfunction is exploited to exclude the notion that as a People, they, Cypriots, even exist. Can you say Lordo that you are not ''Turkish''? I am no "Greek", am i? And you, are you, Cypriot? Who do you condemn?

Police chief fired after ELAM incident (updated: full details); the headline.

...and if he resigned, doesn't that have Grace?

Hi Kurupetos

I don’t think it is childish at all. In this day and age and especially in Cyprus. A Country that is aiming to Re Unify two communities in a United Nation as is the RoC’s desire. We need to call such behaviour for what it is. We can’t go around saying we want unification and then expect the minority group that has suffered the violenve to trust us.

Fro what I read in the article ... the bus was there to colect some tourists and take them to the occupied area. If this is becoming a pronblem fro the RoC and I can see the problem clearly in that not the trnc is using main port of the RoC to enable their tourism. This can be addressed in a different way. Ie coming up with a law that is applied at the crossing points.

Tat’s my view.

We cannot have our cake and eat it too.

[maximus]This story is no longer credible,

Rumor had it that tourists were attacked too but that turned out to be untrue.

What happened was, that a water bottle was thrown at a coach waiting to pick up tourists, which damaged a rear view mirror.

What is likely is that The driver added his own bits to the story to exaggerate the event, like being chased by a mob to drive his coach full of tourists off the high way. Like tourists being attacked, which has turned out to be untrue. It’s not believable....

There is no smartphone video footage from the tourists inside the coach, no number plates recorded of the reckless drivers, no tourist testimony or reports of them being attacked. No nothing, .......but what the driver says.

You are not believable.

This is not even worth the polices time or is it news worth[/quote]y.

The story may not be credible but there may be footage from the car park. that should be made availble and settle the matter once and for all.

Just some fake news that was shared and spread on social media.
