So let me see, there are those that said that the leavers were too stupid to vote on such an important item, yet you want to give it a second go???

Errr! Someone is talking bollocks again.

So the alternative to a second referendum is a continued government impasse and Britain remains in the eu. This has been going on for about 3 years already.

Or a potentially damaging Brexit.

At least the second referendum will put this saga to bed and the brexiteers might end up with what they originally wanted.

Since at the moment, they have not got what they wanted anyway.

If there is a second poll, the Brexiteers will win again but with a bigger margin.

There is one thing the silent majority detests more than anything and that is being talked down to and insulted.

The world is in revolt against globalism. Trump wins US election.

In Australia all the polls had written the conservatives off. There was no chance Scott Morrison would win.

And he won!

In Greece we also have the euro skeptic and anti Kraut Mitsotakis. Let’s see what he does.

People voted for Brexit. These referendums are binding. This is the voice of the people.

That may be so, or not.

What is the issue then?

It is very reasonable to have a second referendum on how Britain should leave the eu (or not)....

The issue is that we have already had the referendum.

People were promised a vote on whether they wanted to remain or to Brexit. That race has already occurred and the Brexiteers won.

Having another referendum isn’t good for the country and you just can’t be doing this because some people don’t like the result. You need to be gracious and accepting in defeat. Brexit has won and us the only way forward. Accept it and make the most of it too.

you are misunderstanding.

The second referendum will be to choose how Britain leaves the eu.

The option to remain will be included in case the people don’t like what the real options of leaving would entail.

Max, you need to smarten up sorry. No one has ever got anywhere trying to British’s with the EU.

But this going to the EU with your hand out asking for a special deal needs to STOP! Britain is a strong middle power, maybe even a superpower. All this stuff is placing Britain in a very vulnerable position of weakness which isn’t on.

Just go hard BREXIT and the special deals with the EU will come.

In the meantime, Britain has solid friends. The other 4 eyes (USA, Canada, Australia, NZ) will stand behind Britain so the economy will not collapse.

And there can be no option about remaining because that will kill the country.

This option is no longer an option Max. Remaining as an option is basically throwing mud and ash into the eyes of millions of people. The democratic process in the UK would be compromised and people might as well not vote again because their vote doesn’t count.

I am no expert in this matter. As I previously said, I have not been following British politics in depth for quite some time.

I am just suggesting a simple solution to move things forward. It now seems the British opposition have have caught up.

From my limited understanding, the leave vote is already split.

Why hasn’t Britain left the eu already?

Why is there an impasses?
