But how should we leave ? That is where there is deadlock in reality. Not on the if but the how.

Even if we say that those who support "remain" today are a bit over 50%, how many of those are in favor of the UK adopting the Euro and further EU integration? Certainly a lot less. So what is the point of keeping the UK in, when it is clear that sooner or later they will have to leave (or kicked out) because they are not truly on board with the idea of a united Europe?

Whilst I personally do not fear the idea of the EU as it exits today evolving in to a United States of Europe I accept the reality that many across Europe and quite probably a majority both EU wide and within individual member states do have such fears. Would you like to see a steady progression towards a 'United States of Europe' Sotos ? With an end goal of individual members states having a similar level of individual sovereignty to that which say a US state has within the USA. Do you think that such an evolution is 'inevitable' regardless of if there is majority support for it or not ?

Achieving something like a "United States of Europe" is not easy and it will take time. The problem with the UK is that it is not following the progression towards this goal along with the other EU countries. For example the French dropped their Franc, the Germans dropped their Mark, but the British didn't want to let go of their pound.

So I think a "United States of Europe" can eventually have majority support in most EU countries, with UK being an exception. I don't see the British ever agreeing to that.

So with the UK leaving we remove a major obstacle for further EU integration and if UK doesn't do that great on its own (which is highly probable) it will also reduce euroskepticism in other EU countries.

UK leaving the EU also takes away any chance of Turkey ever joining the EU, for them to join together politically to counter Germany and France in decision makings within the EU.

now there is more information and people can make a better informed decision,

A) leave with this deal
B) leave with no deal
C) remain.

Two out of three of those choices are to leave.

1st, The referendum is not legally binding.
2nd, people are entitled to change their mind after being more educated on the subject.

This whole brexit saga has become a joke.

It needs a conclusion.

Sorry but democracy doesn’t work that way.

Can’t just keep cancelling the democratic process because you don’t like the outcome.

This makes a mockery of all institutions and Britain would have capitulated to foreign interests.

I agree, which is why the UK must leave the EU in one form or the other to uphold the democratic vote already taken three years ago to leave. However, once that has been accomplished and the UK wants to re enter the EU, another referendum would be peoples democratic right to have one, just like Scotland will push for another referendum to leave the UK if there is a Brexit.

I think once Britain leaves that's it. No point going back. Just negotiate Free Trade Deals with individual EU States, and other non EU States. Britain in the end has more control.

Scotland can have all the referendums it wants but at the end of the day, if they want to join the EU then they need to leave the Union and they already had that vote too.

In the end, Britain will have to leave. I am predicting a no deal Hard BREXIT actually.
