You can’t but to a Greek or Greek speaker, Istanbul is Constantinople.

The is no trnc on google maps either, does that mean it doesn’t exist?

I get your point Max but tell me. If I'm in the departure lounge in Athens International Airport and I'm checking my flight to Istanbul, is the screen displaying it as Istanbul or Constawhatever?

Probably instanbul, because this is the international name used for the city.
