If you read it, Greece has been one of only a few countries which did receive reparations. They were given 115m DM in 1960.

I sincerely hope they do, but if I'm honest they don't have a leg to stand on. I will eat my hat if they do however.

Maybe the Cypriot government demand that the British pay them rent for the ...so called British sovereign areas. In fact demand payment in ....euros since by the time its decided by the disfactional Parliament , Sterling will be worth 50 cents to the Euro !!!

I'm indifferent. It popped up in today's news and I thought some in here might be interested. I don't imagine it will get anywhere either, as non payment of reparations was I believe part of the end of WW2 treaty. They obviously learned from the big mistakes made previously in the WW1 Versailles version.

just a few years ago when they could not meet their obligations to germany for the money they owed, sheepras raised this issue with germany and he was told to get on his bike. of all people, griiiiis has the least claim because their own people did all the killings. contract is a contract and cannot be negated as the griik sheepriots founded out after 1960 and the brits are about to find out after good friday agreement. backstop ine sandon tappon mesdon golondous. now i know that there are serten shipriots who enjoy this sort of activities but they must keep it in their beddroms not release it to the world.
