some people dont like bicomunal meetings

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

some people dont like bicomunal meetings

Postby cypezokyli » Fri Jan 20, 2006 2:00 am

a musical bicommunal meeting, organised from dysi and ptk, received a bomb threat call from unknown persons. after they did not believe them, and the meeting proceeded as planned, they decided to destroy the tyres of cars that were parked close to the meeting.

this is obviously a small , tiny gc minority.

just out of curiosity, is anyone concerned about this phenomenon?
is anyone concerned on what has causes such actions in our democratic society?

Of course we are concerned. What causes these reactions in such meetings (and not in meetings of GCs with say Polish) is that TCs insist for 31 years on our human and democratic rights violations that causes suffering which turns into anger.

Personally I think this is nothing. If a true solution were the human and democratic rights of all are respected is not found and the TCs insist on gaining on the loss of GCs because they "won the war", then I predict another round of bloodshed sooner or later.

For some very "strange" reason people don't like to have their human and democratic rights violated and they become angry if they are. Very strange ah?

polish are indeed very beautiful people.
while the tcs....
these actions are justified, bc the tcs are violating our rights!
i would propose to stop bicomunal meetings with the tcs...(at least in the south)

whats another bloodshed a?
soon?

and some other not-strange people, concider it unacceptable when their rights are violated, while when it happens to others
I think this is nothing.

No. As I wouldn't excuse the father that would just take a gun and kill the murderer of his child instead of allowing justice to do its work.

What I said is that I can understand were the anger of these people is coming from. When TCs insist on our human and democratic right violations it is natural to cause anger to many GCs. Some can control this anger (correct way) and some can not (incorrect way).

I never said the actions are justified I said their anger is justified. Too bad that you can not argue against my own arguments. Do you know about the straw man fallacy? I think you should learn about it since you do it all the time:

The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and substitutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version of that position. This sort of "reasoning" has the following pattern:

Person A has position X.
Person B presents position Y (which is a distorted version of X).
Person B attacks position Y.
Therefore X is false/incorrect/flawed.
This sort of "reasoning" is fallacious because attacking a distorted version of a position simply does not constitute an attack on the position itself. One might as well expect an attack on a poor drawing of a person to hurt the person.
