Hi

I have an ongoing issue with my Apple TV box, and have become tired of trawling through countless internet forums trying to find an appropriate solution.

Ideally I’d like to be able to take the device into a recognised Apple service centre in Limassol (or Paphos at a stretch) to be examined or repaired.

The Apple website indicates that Public, iStorm & Electroline stores in Limassol can repair iPads & iPods – but not Apple TV boxes.

Is anyone aware of any store in the Limassol area which can examine & repair Apple TV boxes?

Public at My Mall are an Apple outlet. When Mrs LR poured a mixer full of lobster bisque onto the keyboard of our switched on £2000 MacBook Pro ( it’s a long story ) I took it in to be resurrected. They fix some stuff on site with quite a good turnaround time but in that case it was sent to Nicosia. Still sorted quickly though. Despite the stench.

I bought my Apple TV box in there a few years ago now.

Officially it is Public and iStorm. There are shops that might be able to fix hardware issues on Apple devices but I don't think there are other "recognized Apple service centres" in Cyprus. From where did you buy it and when? If you bought it less than 2 years ago then you can claim the warranty. If it is the old Apple TV, just buy a new one. if what you have is the 4th generation and you bought it before May 2017, then try Public.
