Australia is 831 times more diverse than Cyprus or doesn't "your rudimentary mental arithmetic" fit this case?

What I mean its far larger. So there are massive differences from North to South. Climates change, so does rainfall and temperatures and the landscape changes too.
Cyprus has a similar landscape to a lot of arid Australia. For instance, it has the same climate as Sydney, Adelaide and Perth. But we have Tasmania, which is closer to a British or French climate, same as Victoria, and we also have the tropics. That's diversity.
In the tropics for instance, there are no 4 seasons. Just the Dry and Wet monsoon season.
You've got things like Savannah Desert, Sandy deserts, to magical water plains, arid areas, forests, mountains and snow, to lush green countryside and of course the tropical areas which are very different. It's very different from North to South, East to West. It's a massive continent which accommodates such diversity. Of course, Cyprus being a small place can't accommodate this. It's a small island. I was just responding to people saying Australia doesn't have the diversity of Cyprus which of course is ludicrous to say. It's the other way around. Australia has a lot of diversity and many natural wonders like Kakadu, Litchfield, Great barrier Reef, Ningaloo Reef and we can go on. Also, many indigenous plant and mammal species only found in Australia. People come from all over the world to see it.
The same can be said of other huge countries. Pick anyone you like. Or pick any continent you like. The USA or Canada have diversity. Europe as a whole has diversity because they are big, therefore climates change from one end to the other.
Plus there is a lot of protection in Australia as nature areas are turned into National Parks which gives them legislated protection.
Kakadu National Park for instance is 20,000 sq km. About twice the size of Cyprus.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_n ... _AustraliaOnce again, I don't particularly care. But saying Cyprus has as much diversity as anywhere is a very shit statement. Cyprus has virtually no diversity, and it's treated like a garbage tip. That is my opinion. Cypriots have little regard for their environment judging by the litter on the roads.
I will compare Cyprus to Greece now.I really love many parts of Greece as this is a place that does have some diversity from the Ionian Sea, to the Aegean, the South Peloponnese to Macedonia. It is an incredibly beautiful country. I much prefer Greece over Cyprus any day.
