Termination of pregnancy

Postby ama_nwe » Thu Feb 14, 2019 6:52 pm

Hello . Please are termination of pregnancies legal in North Cyprus. I'm a 28years old Nigerian female student and will like to know if it is legal and where it can be done and if possible the cost as well...

Sorry to hear about your predicament... go to any hospital where you can approach a female nurse and ask her in private for advice. Good luck.

As you hopefully know the whole "state" in north Cyprus is illegal. So it shouldn't matter if abortion is "legal" or not there, just if you can do it safely. Instead of asking a nurse probably you should visit a gynecologist who should know the answer to all of your questions.

Gynecologist = Appointment and money

Female nurse roaming about some corridor = Instant and free

It also depends on how many weeks pregnant you are. In most countries abortions are legal up to a point. Beyond that point there are increasing moral issues. If you are relatively late in the pregnancy then maybe you should also consider giving the child for adoption if you don't want it.

Abortions are quite expensive when done properly, so a visit to a gynecologist will be the least of her costs and she will get proper advice.

Sounds like you’d be in a hurry to start paying… :lol:

She should be in a hurry if she wants to make an abortion. The longer she waits the more difficult and more costly it would be. And did you think that a nurse would send her directly to a surgeon? My guess is that she would need to be examined by a gynecologist first anyways.

here is some information for you. it looks like it is legal depending on the number of months you are. i also suspect you will probaly be able to do it at a private clinic. what ever you do, do not go to a backs street person.
