I'm not putting the place down at all.

I am just honest and prepared to speak the truth not yank anyone's chain or my own. Did it ever occur to you that perhaps I am more Nationalistic about Cyprus than most people are. That doesn't mean I am delusional about the place, or believe that we are the best or better than anyone else for that matter. I put things into perspective and there are so many things wrong with Cyprus it is so painful to see.

I want Cyprus to be a Monaco. But its a long way from that.

I am no drunk and DT had no right to say this because I hardly drink at the best of times. This is only used to undermine people.

People like you and DT, and Get Real drink a lot more than I do. I have a very low carb diet and generally watch what I eat, gym it regularly and lead a very active lifestyle. I just don't drink, eat any sugar, cakes, sweets in general, I don't eat pastas, starch rich foods or even breads. I am that militant about it but I do enjoy an ice-cream. I get all the carbs I need for energy by eating a lot of vegetables and some fruit. The rest is all meat, eggs, omelettes, fish, tuna, chicken and so on. It's pretty friggin stringent and alcohol is something I don't mess with because of the carbs. It's very Paleo I think is the term but am not up to date.

I also drink fat burning concoctions like Jet Fuel (that is what it is called) which are artificially sweetened, and protein drinks for workouts. I also go bike riding some days.

I am almost completely alcohol free. Doesn't mean I won't have a beer or a wine when I go out. But consumption is very limited and responsible. Plus I can still drive legally because I know I am below the thresholds. I buy a bottle of Single Malt Whiskey and it lasts about 6 months. My current bottle I think I bought about 9 months ago and its still almost half full. lol

You guys would explode if you try and live my kind of lifestyle. You wouldn't be able to do it bunny boy because you are a piss head.Not me, and I never was either.

I hardly drink. When I do, it is in such small amounts. I drive afterwards as well, no problems at all.

The rest, was all pertinent to this thread. I don't need to rehash it.

All my posts are fine, and I would say quite balanced.

You don't like them which is fine. But I don't like your mentality. It does my head in. I am by no means the only person. You guys are just Ottoman Gypsies. You like the Bazaar. You like buying your way and corruption. I thought at one point Cyprus was going to be different but it isn't. There is nothing Western European about us. And that means we are unlike the Australians, Canadians and Americans as well. As in, we have a long way to go....A LOONG LONG LOOOOOONG way to go.

Put it this way Pyro. I would prefer to live in the USA than in Cyprus. Cyprus isn't for me mate. I would die of boredom and I will probably hurt myself in frustration.

At least with Cyprus we were under the Brits for about 100 odd years. Still not enough to detox us from our putrid Ottoman ways. But we at least learnt one or 2 normal things from the Brits, but we didn't make too much headway.

Cyprus is tiny and you are all selling your land. That is the only way you guys know how to make money. One day it will all be gone mate. Cyprus will be owned by the Russians and Brits.
