As to the American Debt, it is impossible to reduce it this quickly. What he has done is increased the rate at which the US economy is growing and it is now the fastest growing economy in the world.
Oh yeah? And I thought it was India, and Turkey, and all those 3rd world countries!
And what's this OECD group you keep on repeating ad nauseam? Did you ever care to look what this organization is all about?
You keep repeating the same nonsense over and over again Paphitis, no matter how many times you have been corrected The car industry is affected by consumer confidence. It takes time before things filter through but they will.
Trump isn't a magician. What he has achieved is far more than any POTUS before him.
If a particular business is not competitive, then it should shut down. It happens all the time.
Now as for Harley Davidson, that is a US Icon. Probably the best cruise motor cycles in the world. they have their ups and downs but they will not close down. I already told the Minister of Finance I'm getting one of these bad boys (mid life crisis)
Turkey and India are not OECD countries.
You don't compare highly developed economies with developing economies like Turkey and India. You compare with the OECD.
So Pryo, think before making a fool of yourself!
I am afraid it's you who is making a fool of yourself by repeating nonsense-never reading links-and never understanding even when we throw proof right on your face.
For a start you said "
US economy is growing and it is now the fastest growing economy in the world. " Read what you actually said verbatim.
Then you changed the goalposts and said it's the fastest growing economy among the OECD countries.
You then changed the goalposts again saying it's the fastest developing economy among the developed countries.
NONE OF THEM IS TRUE. THEY ARE ALL FALSE!!
Look at the list of member states of the OECD for a start. It's not only developed economies. Turkey is in, Chile is in, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, Israel ...
http://www.oecd.org/about/membersandpartners/Then from exactly the same source: The US is NOT the fastest growing economy, not even compared with the EU average.
Netherlands 2.9 Korea 3.1 Finland 3.5 Canada 3 Austria 2.6 compared to 2.4% of the USA
https://stats.oecd.org/index.aspx?queryid=60703What you heard on TV was for the first quarter of 2018 when it's possible that the US surpassed Australia, but that doesn't support your view that either Australia or the US are the fastest growing economies, neither among the developed countries nor among the OECD countries and certainly not worldwide
NB. Turkey IS AN OECD country!! Everybody can be as long as he pays the necessary fees.
Which makes me think you are actually confused as to what this organization is all about. Check their homepage.
