Try asking the muktar of the village, they may help if you tell them you have interest to buy.

You can do search at the land registry, although I am unclear if they will entertain you if you don't have some adjacent plot.

It's not a secret information and there should be a procedure to follow. For example the Electricity authority gets all info it wants and sends letters to owners in cases they need to pass poles in someone's property. If the property is within a municipality the the municipality itself should have all info because they are taxing everyone.

Sadly, in Cyprus everything is secret, there is no transparency, The electricity board has the power by law to obtain the info it needs, unless you are the owner of a plot of have interest in it the land registry will not give you the info.

If you were an owner of an adjacent plot you could search your neighbours, but you can just go and ask them who owns this plot.

This is another reason why Cyprus is high up on the corruption list, exactly because we have no transparency.

The EAC is a semi government organisation providing utilities.

If someone is drawing power from them, then they should be able to obtain the property owners information so they can send a bill. That is, if they dont have it already.

Information about who owns what private property should not be made public so any bambos, yiannis or kyproula can get your personal info.
