Good for you.. you rock those abs
The UK is full of men at a certain age that that think having a beer belly makes them highly attractive
I'm not that vain but I made some life style changes some time ago as follows:
1) I am very particular about the foods I eat - I have a high protein/high fibre/low carb diet.
It almost borders with Palio.
2) I am a very regular attendee (almost daily) to the gym.
3) I also enjoy my bike riding, swims, jogging and my regular walks.
I'm just not ready to die or to stop doing what I do. I am very lucky to be doing something that I just don't consider to be work.
If I had to work for a living, well I don't know, but I could be suicidal...
But yeh, I might dabble in the occasional craft beer, or wine, or single malt.
I am very proud of my achievements so far. There is nothing wrong with being proud of any progress anyone makes, especially when it takes a lot of determination, willpower and hard work.
There is absolutely nothing vain about being fit and healthy. As long as you feel good within yourself then that’s all that matters. Self- confidence shouldn’t be seen as arrogance.
You are very lucky, not many people can say that they don’t consider their job to be work. Determination, willpower and hard work all reap success in life and you should always celebrate your own success. You have earned it so you deserve it.
Life isn’t a competition with others. Why not be a lion in a world full of sheep.
