Then, a camera crew was in my face. Therefore you actually think you will be on the 6 o’clock news as well.
That is a lot more than me reacting to a most unconventional and weird situation. Me calling them an arsehole is the least of it. Plus they deserved all the disrespect I fished out to them because they disrespected me.
My passenger got out of the car and there was yelling to get back in. We both thought we were in serious shit. We both d

I don’t know what your gripe is.
But I think you should really cool it. Just try to relax.
You shouldn’t be sending photos to strangers you don’t know. I mean who does that?
A forum like this isn’t a place to form those kinds of relationships.
I’m not heated.
I just stand on my principles. To me, that is a measure of one’s character. But that’s just me.
I am also very prepared to accept the consequences of my actions. One should be very proud if their actions are principled and Honourable.
Ok, maybe I misinterpreted “get your fucking camera out of my face arsehole” as heated
I agree, morals and principles are a measure of character and should be consistent every day in a persons actions
Nobody is perfect and yes, we should all accept the consequences of our actions. Always better to stand back and reflect on both sides of the story too.
I explained what happened to me as I was innocently driving along and then I was followed by a marked and unmarked police car. I was expecting them to get their guns out next. It was very intimidating for anyone because if you get pulled over by 2 cop cars, the last thing you think of is an RBT or traffic violation. I thought that they might have mistaken me for someone else.

My passenger got out of the car and there was yelling to get back in. We both thought we were in serious shit. We both decided to not answer questions or play their silly games and if need be we can get our lawyer out. Give them nothing. Not when they behave like they are about to shoot us up.
They were the ones that were heated but they were playing to the camera to make it look more exciting or “dangerous”. It was all staged like in a movie. I was not impressed one bit.
That’s not being heated. That is just being a normal law abiding citizen that will stand up for themselves. Just because they are police does not place them above the law or give them licence to scare the shit out of citizens and mistreat them like this.
It does seem over the top if all they wanted was a random breath test. Unfortunately most police officers do have a high level of arrogance, must be a pre requisite of the job what were they doing with guns? as traffic cops
Of course you should defend yourself, but they don’t see it like that.
I’ve been in the US on the Las Vegas strip where they film a lot of incidents for Tv shows and it is funny to watch some of these clowns and they get aggressive and the cops make a big drama of arresting them. There is always a big crowd of people stood by watching it all kick off and the tv crew filming. Ive watched drivers try and break the camera crew equipment and go absolutely crazy.
I’m not sure if as a driver we have the right to say they can’t film us. I guess different rules in different countries. The drivers in the UK that are filmed for these shows are actually appalling. They are the ones that deserve to be taken off the road as clearly dangerous. I’ve never been pulled over as a driver. Saying that it will probably happen now
