Yeh it happens in wonderful Australia. We have stupid programs like this in Australia. There are some people that get of on seeing people get into trouble with the police. If I was intoxicated and made an example of, it would have made it on TV which is quite despicable in my opinion. But some people think this is entertainment.

You can also give them a bit of stick in Australia and we have a legal system that protects us from any nonsense as well. A functioning legal system and there is an ombudsman that looks into matters like this.

In other words, Australia has functioning institutions and a functioning judiciary. In Cyprus you nearly go bankrupt and no one will look into it to find out why.

The other day when I got lazered, there were also 2 Polair choppers looking for the kids that did that within 2 minutes. And if they got caught they would be answering to Federal Charges - and go to jail as well.

Does that happen in Cyprus?

No man how can this happen in Cyprus? We are all stupid here, and our legal system is such, that everyone can wear a police uniform, stop people at the highway pretending they are the police, ask people to do things that only the police is entitled to, drive a police vehicle, and start filming people in the streets without any consequences whatsoever.

The police were ridgey didge mate. The Australian Legal system is pretty robust as well. Like more robust than in Cyprus probably. Not that I have had much experience with Cyprus but I would rather the processes that exist in Australia.

Put it this way. If Australia had a Banking collapse like Cyprus did, the legal court cases and investigations over that would be ongoing for many years to come.

That's NOT THE POINT! In a legally functioning country they would not be allowed to stop not even one person, they would not be allowed to use legally or illegally marked police vehicles, it would be a serious offense to wear false police uniform etc etc etc. You still don't get it do you?
And yes in Cyprus I would immediately call 1460 and have them arrested on the spot within 15 minutes without even having to testify or reveal my name.

In the UK, Australia, USA, NZ and Canada, there are these franchise TV Productions such as Cops and RBT and a few others.

They also have another show called Border Security where they film customs border security processes at airports and other things like that.

The police officers are actual police officers. They are not actors. This is the USA version

I told you before Banks are private companies. Furthermore they are NOT accountable to the Government they are only accountable to the Central Bank which in turn is only accountable/controlled by the European Central Bank. Do you need to be a rocket scientist to figure out how difficult it is to go after them? Still, the legal process is ongoing, tens of people have been charged including Vgenopoulos who all of a sudden presumably died! I challenged you before to tell me me which of the Lehman Brothers or Citigroup who started the International crisis has ever been criminally charged, only to receive your silence for an answer.

Nope! We live in the EU where we don't even need to initiate a legal process for the obvious violation of our privacy.
