The other avenue I spoke of is still open but not proving as fruitful as originally promised. If/when I conclude this sale, I will add some thoughts based on my experiences on the thread I started about Israeli buyers. For the time being, this is a classified entry aimed at selling my flat.

The transfer takes place at the Land Registry Office. I intend to use the services of a law firm to help conclude the deal and I would recommend the buyer to do the same.

I now have some photographs to illustrate the flat for sale.

Here is the front external view. The flat for sale occupies the entire top floor. The garden is greatly admired by people in the neighbourhood. The bushes on both sides of the entrance produce an abundance of red roses when they are in season. The work on the garden is done by a couple who live in the building. The monthly communal charges of 90 euro include the cost of the garden.

A view from one of the front verandas. The flat is in a low-density, suburban neighbourhood, yet is not far from the vibrant Limassol city centre. There is an area of open ground opposite which serves as an impromptu overflow car park for nearby residents. I have it on good authority that the roadside strip on the opposite side of the arterial road is scheduled to be landscaped by the municipality.

The covered veranda just next to the indoor dining area (sea visible on the horizon!). The best place for dining most of the year in Cyprus’s hot climate. The roller blinds enable this veranda to be converted into an impromptu additional room, handy if there are plenty of guests in the summer months.
