What happened?

Most of the voters / people in the US support him.

If this is not a success for Trump and America, then it just shows what an utter failure the democrats are.

Here's an IQ test for you:

Q. Which is better?

A. Control of the Senate AND the House of Reps

B. Control of the Senate only.

You can count your lucky stars and be thankful that the American people have delivered a major victory for freedom, liberty and free speech.

Say thank You!

Trump looking at controlling Congress, and Senate and GOP looking to make the US a sea of BLUE in most States.

What a glorious day in US politics! This is an amazing vindication of Trump.

Well done America, the land of the free! I want one of those "make America Great again" caps. :D

yes they are.

GOP is the workers party. The party standing for free speech, and for the US worker and manufacturing.

Who would have thought hey? The tables are turning against the all the stupidities spawning from the regressive left which are anti white males and anti worker.

We need a Trump in Australia too.

No, it's just that GOP is suppose to be right, but they are the JFK version of Democrats when things were still sensible.

Like a bull in a china shop, Trumpy wasted the first two years of his tenure waging war on everything and everyone and he’ll probably spend the next two trying to mend everything up… for a total waste of four.

What an accomplishment!

In the past both the Democrats and Republicans have had the control of the White House, Senate and the House as well as not having any of the three. This is normal from time to time, which is not the best thing for the country, but best for the party when having all three. This is a healthy democracy where power changes hands from time to time. Both the Senate and the House has their own importance, but if I had to choose between the two as a president, I would choose the Senate, as the Senate is the last stop before a bill goes to the president to be signed. Any bill the House puts together can be rejected by the Senate and then it is sent back to the House to make changes before it being sent back to the Senate. The Senate can send the bill they don’t like endlessly, which then can cause gridlock and possible government shutdown, which often those causing the gridlock are the ones who get the blame for refusing to make changes to the bill to be signed into law.
