Sorry for the lateness of reply.

We just had a huge subtropical super cell storm hit Brisbane. I was flying at the time and all traffic inbound was in a Holding pattern. We were holding at waypoint BLAKA with who knows how many, and others were holding at LAVEG, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast and overhead Amberley. I counted 11 aircraft at BLAKA alone with 1 thousand foot separation and TCAS was going nuts with Traffic Alerts. Affected many flights and a few thousand passengers. In the end we were all running low on fuel and were forced to divert to our Suitable Alternates before our options ran out. We did a u bolt and went back to Sydney because Gold Coast and Sunshine were full.

Today was a recovery day and I am tired, so I am gonna sleep. In my own bed. Ah!

Got some spectacular photos though. We saw the most fabulous Lightning and Fireworks display ever.

We've had minority Governments before. Gillard was the last minority Government.

But this may shock you. I made a conscious decision to not vote unless they make the system a voluntary voting system. I don't vote anymore basically, or monitor local politics.

The good thing being that they are protected from viruses like their own stuxnet. No one would bother to write code to screw up archaic sytems like that.

Their main protection from viruses is that the 8.5” floppy is no longer readable let alone writable... :lol:
