Just for the record… I’ve got ZERO items loading at Windows startup so whenever I switch on I’m in Windows and all settled down within 15 seconds, and this is an old computer!

If I do a Ctrl+Alt+Del my processor is almost always at 100% available for running software… absolutely nothing is wasting my time as it should be.

It tells me to go to task manager.

There, I can right click and disable stuff.

Oh OK...it must've been re-arranged in Win10.

I think so. It's a Win10 thing.

End result though is the same.

I don't have a lot of stuff to disable and my computer is pretty fast. I just want it optimized. And I am not one to just install stuff willy nilly unless I need it and have a use for it.

1. Wise Disk Cleaner

2. Privacy Eraser

For the registry...

For adware/malware I use Malwarebytes...

NB: Needless to say that one should always pay attention to installation options and then go set program options after the install with every new program installed.

Tip: Disabling background auto updates is strongly recommended for all software or your memory and processor will be congested with TSR utilities trying to update all the time.

Btw, I never use "anti-virus" programs... never needed them.

Downloaded and tried the following:
1. Wise Disc Cleaner
2. Privacy Eraser
3. Wise Cleaner

I already had Malwarebytes and if anyone doesn't have that for Malware and Adware, then get it. It really does great of ridding your machine of malware and other exploits if you have any.

As for the other 3 programs, they are all brilliant and better than CCleaner.

Big thumbs up from me.
