Poisoning and Shooting of Cats

Postby Stephanie77 » Wed Sep 19, 2018 7:57 pm

The youth in Cyprus, in Paphos, in Peyia, get bored. In Peyia, they like to shoot cats. Right now someone in Peyia is taking a little kitten to the vet's who has a damaged spine. But the poisoning is worse. For some reason, some people think it's cool to leave poison around and poison cats. The Tourist Board should put this in the next travel brochure.

I once read that we’ve got around 3.5 million stray cats and that’s a lot for such a small island.

I’m surprised the government hasn’t done something about this yet because turning a blind eye only makes the problem worse each year. Sooner or later we will have to deal with what has evolved into a major pest on the island.

I’m not gonna get into the filth and diseases that stray cats carry and spread because I covered that in a previous post but what I will say is that poisoning is a good method to get rid of such vermin in your neighborhood.

I know it’s not the kind of post you were hoping for in your thread Stephanie, but there are two sides to every coin...

Btw, I forgot to address the typically American hypocritical arrogance you displayed in the line...

The only virmin in Cyprus is peoplr such as GR, a ....Christian who believes that his imaginary god created every living thing on this planet. Cats have been around since humanity, they share our planet. They have feelings, unlike these barbarians who poison them and shoot them.
The criteria of measuring man's civility is his attitude to all living things. I have cats, I feed them, some I have taken to the vet.
My neighbours, not all, have been warned about putting poison down . This is one disgusting aspect of this island, some consider cats and dogs as virmin. The virmin is none other than these pretentious peasants.

I don't think of cats and dogs as vermin, but there is a major problem with the number of strays here in Cyprus.

There needs to be a major program of neutering strays, the costs should be partly paid by those that insist on feeding them without getting them neutered.

Dogs are a bigger problem than cats.

Especially dogs kept in flats and other shared buildings should be illegal, and owners in these cases should be arrested and heavily penalized.

There are hundreds of dogs barking and shitting all over the place. Recently there have also been deadly attacks of dogs.

Lets also ban all the wanker drivers, especially bikers who race up and down making a cacophony of noise, these bastards ought to be permanently banned or perhaps ....poisoned!!!
Dogs are man's best friend.
