Hello!

I have an Australian Driver's licence and I would like to transfer it to a Cypriot licence.

Has anyone done this before and is an Australian Driver's licence considered to be "from a country where the Driving License is recognized as equivalent to the Cyprus"?

If anyone can give me a bit more insight into the process and how long it takes that would be fantastic.

I did exactly that in 2002 and didn’t have any problems but it was a long time ago now and pre-EU.

For me it was just an hour's visit to the transport department.
