That should have been Panagia mou. Nil all draw. Such a huge shame.

Some great players on show, especially that Greek International Avraam Papadopoulos, who is a great centre back.

Now its time for Souvla and Kleftiko. :D

Australian A League on par with 3rd division of England (it’s premiership, then championship and then division 1,2 etc)

Written by an Ozzie journo no less

I especially liked the “it’s a much slower game thus making the players look better.”

So there you have it. While Apoel has easily earned points against the likes of Chelsea away, the Australian teams would struggle against Barnsley.

And the English 3rd division is basically Cyprus 2nd division!

So we're talking comparable to teams like ASIL, THOI Lakatamias, Akritas, etc...

There are some Australian Journalists who will continuously attack the ALeague because it is threatening Aussie Rules and Rugby.

There is a war between the Footy Codes and competition is fierce.

However, in the game I saw today, there was a Greek International Player, and 2 Danish Internationals. Not just some guys that might have played 1 or 2 games either. These are marquee players.

And btw, watching the game today, you could have thought you were in Europe. The standard is very high. A lot higher than anything you guys are use to in a market that is brutal. Watching Brisbane play Phoenix is not like watching Apoel play Dighenis Akiritas or Pafos. What kind of mickey mouse shit is that anyway?

It costs a licence fee of $15 million dollars to play in the A League for 1 season. You guys are not in this kind of league. Sorry.

You try and find me a Cypriot or an English 3rd division team that can afford that.

In your dreams.

The Cyprus League is basically 5th division if you're lucky!

There are friggin current Bundeslige and Manchester City and Manchester United players in the A League. I'm not talking about reserve players either but actual mainstays playing on loan.

Well here’s yet another world football club ranking for you Paphitis:

This one ranks your best team Sydney next to our Anorthosis Famagusta so its the most generous placement I could find for you thus far…

But the top Cypriot clubs are ranked way higher than your best…

How much more evidence do you need?
