Barcelona have come to Australia. The Federation didn't pay them.

They would however be entitled to a part of the gate. The gate would be substantial too because tickets here are like $65 per person. Don't know exactly but it isn't exactly cheap. An A League General Admission ticket is $40 or about 28 to 30 Euro.

I think these teams do actually like coming to Australia and the USA.It's not as if it is an issue for them. They won't get a chance to come during their regular season so the might as well venture out. And all those players you mention love coming here.

They get to play in front of 100,000 Aussie fans. Barcelona probably get to play in front of 100k in Spain though.

I remember seeing PAOK play ages ago. I even managed to get Nioblas Signed Guernsey. He was a great Greek International Player. Never forget that.

I don't know if it is the same guy but there was a Greek International player by that name that use to play for PAOK ages ago. I saw him play against West Adelaide back in the day and I remember him turning one of the defenders inside out and almost score.

Must be someone else, because Nioplias played for OFI & Panathinaikos.

I can’t believe that fucking Spanish idiot will once again be fielding the useless Yiannou instead of Florian! :?

Such a precious position wasted on a useless fart not even good enough to play defender let alone CF!

Shocking Apollon defense in the first half… what the hell are they doing playing ping-pong in front their goal all night?

IMO both teams played OK, although AEK should have won the match...

Both teams need to build UEFA Category 4 stadiums, instead of using GSP all the time. What's the point of wasting millions on transfers every year for nothing?

BTW, Eintracht's stadium is amazing.

I’m just about to walk into Suncorp Stadiumto watch an A League game.

Brisbane Hollandia Vs Wellington Phoenix.

Crowd 22,000

It’s a sea of Dutch Orange and feels like I’m in Holland watching the Dutch play.
