Delusions? you guys are talking about the Cyprus Football league.

It's about the same standard as a State league. Bloody A League clubs are global giants owned by Global Football Groups like the City Football Group (Manchester City)

You guys are just a village pub team!

there is no way the Cy League is stronger than the A League. All you have is a stronger coefficient which is a false comparison because A League clubs can't get the coefficient points of the UEFA Leagues.

Get Appollon to play Victory, Sydney, City FC and they will get raped like a bitch because there is no way any Cypriot team can counter the Australian Physicality of Total Football (you saw it in the world cup against France)!

Still no answer to my question boys? Which Greek, or Cypriot Club has more members than 27,400 season ticket holders for one club? Anyone?

First of all, strikers like Berisha and Usain Bolt would leave all your players for dead with their change of pace. fastest footballers on the planet. fastest Man on the planet!

Sorry dude, but the IFFHS is a football authority while you are not:

I’m afraid the Cyprus 2nd division is the best we can place your feeble Aussie team... take it or leave it!

Usain Bolt was rejected by every club he was tried in Europe before signing in your stupid league, koala.

Bolt has previously trained with clubs in Germany, Norway and South Africa.

Their top player is Kosta Barbarouses, a player who played for Panathinaikos some years back.

Although he's a striker, he didn't manage to score once in 11 appearances.

Paphiti, bugger off! You know nothing about football!

Barbarouses isn't the top player. not even close.

Barbarouses is also a Kiwi not an Australian.

Dave Villa played for Victory btw. Sorry he played for City. The same club as manchester city btw.

Face it people. You are not in that league.

Big deal, koala...

Even the hohos have players who played in Juventus and Real Madrid, koala...

That’s based on your daft assumption that they’re Cypriots!

Apollon is basically Argentinean x 3, Portuguese x 2, Spanish x 2, French x 2, Yugoslav x 2, and a bunch of other foreigners, while AEK is like 70% Spanish.

Aussie clubs don’t stand a chance against these two especially in their current superb form.

Oh boy mate. It's the same with the A League. There are a lot of foreigners. Just like Usain Bolt who's skills are not bad but we all know he is a Jamaican Sprinter and WR holder for 100m and yes he lights up the soccer pitch when he is out in space and no one can catch him. The got the budget to sign better players too because some of the teams have unlimited funds. I will give you an example. They paid over 10 million for one player a couple of years back in David Villa.

There are marquee players earning 7 figure salaries in the A league. The highest paid is 3 million.

The A league is a very physical league. Potentially, they can bring teams like France to a stand still but defensively, Australian players are tactically naive as their downfall and lacked a good striker too but they looked like a better team than France who won the world cup when they played each other.

If you don't believe me, send over the best Cypriot side and play some friendlies. The Cy League is probably akin to the Australian State provincial Leagues like SA League 1.

A League is a totally different kettle of fish which in my opinion is beyond Cyprus, Greece, Turkey and is probably a bit like Eredevesie, Austria, or maybe Belgium. There is a very big Dutch flavour to the league as well.

yeh but the ho hos are not good enough to outplay France or Spain.

Australian players, somehow, are capable of exactly that. I don't know how they fucken manage that, but somehow they manage it. I guess they play for the shirt. who knows? If they had a striker, France would have been embarrassed and absolutely floored.

Look, you guys are just amatuers ok! Deal with it. If we want to match up against the ho hos pub team, we will call you.

Right now that I can easily check, your top team isn't worth much...

https://www.transfermarkt.com/melbourne ... erein/7006

It is valued lower than both Apollon and APOEL.

:? You keep mixing up the national league with the national team and that’s probably where all your confusion stems from but they are two completely different things.

Once again... there can never be a fixture between Omonia and France! The first is a league team and the latter a national team.

:? Paphitis, has left the building… probably to watch the match:

Elia Lyhtrodonta vs Australia

or is it… :?

Spain vs Iraklis Yerolakkou

Nobody can accurately guess what the fixtures are going to be in Paphitis’ mind…
