...and imagine how high your attendance would be if AEK or Apollon were to come over and pummel your top team (Kangaroo United?) by 4-0 or 5-0!

Melbourne Victory are last year's champs.

Their top player is Kosta Barbarouses, a player who played for Panathinaikos some years back.

Although he's a striker, he didn't manage to score once in 11 appearances.

Paphiti, bugger off! You know nothing about football!

BTW, Australia's top striker at the moment is another Greek-Australian: Apostolos Giannou.

Currently a player of AEK Larnaca!

Mate, I think the A League is a bit beyond Cy League.

I have seen some Cyprus football games and the standard is lower and no where near as competitive. Also, the world's fastest striker plays in the A League. No player will catch him on the wing. His name is Usain Bolt!

Far out mate, but there are players in the A League that are paid the entire Apoel salary budget!

Barbarouses isn't the top player. not even close.

Barbarouses is also a Kiwi not an Australian.

Dave Villa played for Victory btw. Sorry he played for City. The same club as manchester city btw.

Face it people. You are not in that league.

The top Kangaroo team has an average attendance of about 25,000 fans. That is how many season ticket holders there are.

That is more than the entire yearly attendance of both Appollon and AEK combined.

Which Cypriot or Greek club has 25000 members? Does Apoel?

maybe the only one is Olympiakos Athens but i doubt they come close either.

Their average attendance is 17.5K Paphidoudi so quit farting…

And I’d say they are 17,500 regular fools who go to watch a useless team worthy of playing in Cyprus’ 2nd division!
