I can speak English but dunno if a scouse accent counts. I can also speak french(takes me a while though, been some time since I used it) and I can understand spoken Greek but my reading of it leaves a lot to be desired.
Made a resolution that I will learn another language this year and not just the swear words!

Does anyone have a particular accent they do or dont like? I love geordie accents, they are so cool.

Personally I like the Irish accent since it's a like a song, more like when a foreigner listens to somebody speaking with Cypriot accent

Ooh yes definitely the Irish one - theres so many of em where Im from that I forgot about them. I could have an Irish guy recite the phone book and find it interesting.

Have to be naughty and confess that the accent here didnt appeal much to me - my local friends are rather unamused when I chuckle or correct their English but it makes up for them wetting themselves when I attempt to speak Greek. Thats why I listen and answer in English.

native: greek
fluent(more or less) : english
others : basic hungarian-good enough to get around in hungary without any problems except when it comes to terminology that has to do with plumbing and other technical stuff
i used to be good in french but since i have never lived in france i am not used to the proper french accent,so i avoid talking in french so that i wont ridicule myself
currently i am learning swedish,i already had 2 lessons, its quite easy grammatically but difficult in pronounciation
