The Bill for banning the transfer of F-35 technology to Turkey is gaining momentum at a Bi-Partisan level and with the backing of some major heavy weights too.

The amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act, or NDAA, from Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Republican Senator Thom Tillis, would remove Turkey from the F-35 program over its detention of U.S. citizen Andrew Brunson, Shaheen’s office said.

The Bill has official backing from Australia and Israel.

From the regional perspective, Israel wants to contain Turkey's influence. Australia made an unusual statement saying that Turkey is a security concern to Australia. Let's connect the dots and see what is happening here.

A few days back I predicted that Turkey will be thrown out of NATO. Contrary to what some might point out that there is no chance of this happening I believe that if Erdogan wins the forthcoming elections, Turkey it self may very well on its own re examine her NATO status. Erdogan has ambitions of becoming the supreme leader if Islamic nations and may consider that continuing with NATO membership is ....haram.!!! Well I will say Allahu akbar to that !!!

What you said is NOT far fetched.

Australia has requested that Turkey be removed or evicted from the F-35 Consortium because it has bought Russian Made S400 missiles.

The concern is that Turkey is selling classified technical information to the Russians and jeopardising the entire F-35 project.

The US Government has introduced a Bill to prevent the handover of F-35 aircraft to Turkey.

Australia has made an official representation to its partners and the US Government. Australia has indicated to the US Government that Turkey is a massive security concern for the Commonwealth of Australia.

Australia :D what is her contribution to alliance compared with Turkey, apart from genocide of Aborigines !

Turkey will get both, F-35 and S-400 unfortunately! :)

Australia's Contribution to the alliance is a lot more vast.

Australia is an Echelon 5 eye partner, has some of the most secretive and covert bases on the planet (Pine Gap) and is part of the US Nuclear Submarine Communications Network.

Australia has also contributed to virtually all wars, including Vietnam,

Australia also attends all NATO summits.

Don't worry about the Aboriginal Genocide. You seem to be grasping for straws. There was NEVER an Aboriginal Genocide because if there was, then quite clearly Australians are not very good at genocide. Wiping out the Aborigines would have been easy, but Australia never wanted to or even tried. There was never ever any need. Sure there were injustices some 250 years ago. But genocide? no there was no genocide. There was a stolen generation. That is when the Australian Government would seize Aboriginal Children and raise them (it was thought to be for their own good) but even that was at the time "well intended" or so they thought, but an injustice and a crime in hindsight of course in this day and age because it caused a lot of damage to the Aboriginal Children because they were forcibly detached from their families.

Armenian genocide?! I dont know that !
The only genocide I know in this region is Turkic/Muslim genocide of Balkans and Caucasus between 19th and 20th centuries. More than 10 million civilians (inc. my family) forcefully drove out from their lands, 5 mil died on the way while seeking refuge.

Is this what they teach you in Turkish schools ? I bet they also teach that one Turk is worth 1000 non Turks.!!
Perhaps the schools also teach you about the .....massive contribution Turkey made to civilization, democracy, the arts !!
