Sotos,you are 100 % right.
All this experience(in the majority-negative one) to deal 95 %+++ with Amazon.
Only i am a little confused about purchasing smartphones(not because of the price or customer support-vice versa-Amazon have one of the best customer support) but because i cant live without smartphone-in a hard way,i understand(how to told in in advance) that it is possible to purchase a insurance and with it,you will receive a replacement phone immediately until your phone is repaired.
I am not sure if Amazon offer such service.

I don't know about such insurance... what I do is having a second cheaper or older phone around and I can use that in such a case.

A little update.
I contact consumer rights in Cyprus and they answered me.
Here is the answer:
"As stated in our previous e-mail, the Cyprus Law does not specify a specific (maximum) time frame for the repair/replacement to be completed (a maximum time of 30-60 days is provided only in a limited number of other EU member-states – most EU member states have the exact same provision as EU Directive, i.e. «within a reasonable time»). Please note however that the time of repair has to be «reasonable». The one year example that you mentioned does not seem to fulfil this provision.
The Law does not provide for the 2 years legal guarantee period to be extended according to the time needed for the repair to be completed."

1)There is no maximum time for repair and without mention it,this can go to absurd level.Yes,it cant be one year(i hope so) but without mention it how lang can be.............you understand the point.
Everything go to "reasonable time"...................which can be everything
2)The warranty is not extended when it is one repair..............if we combine with 1,it can make your device to be 3-4 months on repair...............even you can be without warranty,if you give it 3-4 weeks before the expiration of the warranty.
In this current form,i don't think that the law protects the consumer rights at all.

What shop are we talking about, and for how long are they keeping your device so far?

From Public(with two year warranty),today,it is 31 days.I call in Monday to repairing center(which i found after a little research -this is Not public) and they say it is repaired and in Friday it will be in shop for pick up,but i don't have confirmation from Public yet.
In worst case,In Monday it should be ready to take it
But the case is close to be resolved.
I don't know what it will his status there(i start to think for the worst scenario :)))
Will the battery change successfully, will i have any other problem.
But i saw what is the Law for consumer rights-try to understand what is "reasonable time" :))))))))))))

Look, fuck your consumer rights!

You’ve been waffling from the onset to the point where even after 7 posts nobody knows what the hell you’re talking about.

Battery related issues are considered a security threat because they have the potential to explode and are thus treated with priority, but your device won’t be the only one with the problem… probably thousands of customers are affected by this.

Therefore, is there an official RECALL for this brand/model, from the manufacturer?

If indeed there is then the time taken to replace/repair is a different ballgame altogether and your standard “consumer rights” go out the window.

You even admitted earlier that you purchased a well-known problematic model (recall pending no doubt). You went ahead with the purchase knowing there would be problems!

All I can say is that you’re an IDIOT and a sucker for punishment!

Welcome to cyprus-forum.com Torto :)

We sometimes discuss on here why the forum is not attracting the same number of users and contributors to it as it has in the past or could have going forward. ;)

Nope, we NEVER discuss such things…

In fact you’re the only IDIOT who strategically shows up pretending we have a problem when all the time YOU are the problem who cannot fit it and cannot get an “upper hand” like you’d like to on this forum.

Run along loser...
