Only power users go for Opera.

people go for Chrome because of the branding in the marketplace not because it is the best browser out there. there are many browsers that are potentially better but don't have the market share. Which is a bad omen for you.

There is another browser called Brave. Also pale Moon, and Waterfox which are all very good browsers but don't have market share.

Opera is sitting on 2% though and that means there are several million users around the world and counting.
