There were heaps of political debates there. There were North Korean threads and threads about BREXIT and the Syrian War.

They were also quite knowledgeable about the Cyprus Problem.

But Brits don't let politics rule them and they ALSO talk about lots of other things too.

The Admin there is Terrific too. His name is Steve! The only way you can piss Steve off is to get overly personal in your postings. I'm not talking about Banter. The Brits that visit that forum really love a bit of Banter and take the piss out of each other all the time. As long as its not vindictive and personal nonsense like Hoodwinked did, then you got no problems.

And no, they were not making comments like what you portrayed. A lot of them made some in depth analysis of the situation, and many of them were very critical of Trump too, but none were an apologist for Fatboy other than Hoodwinked. And none of them wanted a Nuclear Exchange. It was sensible debate apart from Hoodwinks contributions which bordered on insanity.

They are every bit relevant because South Korea isn't a Hermit State. It is an open economy and free market that trades with the world. people are free to come and go, and live how they like and even watch foreign soaps and movies.

It's also a beacon of peace and stability. It doesn't threaten anyone and even walks on egg shells to appease the North Koreans much like the RoC does with its dealings with Turkey.

And it doesn't test Nuclear Weapons or fire rockets everywhere.

Of course it's relevant. South Korea isn't behaving like a rogue.

If a country has great relations with its neighbours and trades with everyone, it means it has good friendly and cooperative relations as a good International Citizen.
