That's 28,000km/hr and 29,000 km/hr respectfully. Which is faster than Poofy Pootin has which you say is 24,910 km/hr.

Add to that our geographic and strategic advantage and the West is way ahead of the game!

it will never get to that because Pootin will look like that himself and it will be a lot more devastating for Russia than the West.

It's because the West have been developing Air Defence Systems that can defend against ICBMs, including Satan.

The maximum speed is only achievable at the Apex, which is outside the earth's atmosphere where there is no Resistance, and the Americans were developing those technologies from the 50s. On re-entry, the speed of the ICBM is greatly reduced by the atmospheric resistance, otherwise the missiles will break up in air into smithereens.

it's on the re-entry part where ICBMs are vulnerable to short and medium range Air Defence and it's multi-layered. That is, in the last 5% of its flight path from Ground Zero. That's where the Air Defence kicks in. Think of Air Defence as the last line of Defence. A bit like a Goal keeper. there is actually an Air Defence System called Goalkeeper or Phalanx!

NATO Air Defence is more than capable of intercepting the Satan. NATO Radar Systems and Target acquisition (such as AEGIS) is far superior to known Russian technologies. The Americans have been working on this stuff since the Reagan Administration. And as they rolled them out, they fortified Europe, Japan, South Korea and Alaska with them before it even deployed units on the US East and Western seabords. Australia is next to receive these units by 2022 btw to defend against North Korean, Chinese and Russian ICBMs.

ICBMs were out a long time ago and both sides achieved Mutually Assured Destruction making ICBMs virtually obsolete. So for the Americans, the next race was in Air Defence from ICBM. If you can develop an integrated Air Defence capability against ICBMs then that makes your ICBMs not as obsolete as Russia's and it puts you ahead of the game.

Isn't this what Poofy Pootin is worried about? he seems a bit too worried about our Air Defence batteries. Hence the reason why the West didn't spend on ICBMs. It's obsolete technology which achieves NOTHING whereas the Billions spent on Air Defence has the Russians in a big spin because it turns the game into the West's favour.

And so far they have met with abysmal failure, even when the launch time, trajectory and final target is known they have had minimal success. So when they don’t know where the launch point is or when, the weapon has variable flight paths that can be changed in flight, you don’t know where the final target is ....... and each SATAN can deliver multiple nuclear warheads with the same characteristics ........ the US won’t stand a chance!

But that will happen only when Russia reaches a final conclusion that the US and NATO are an imminent threat to Mother Russia. Basically, the Nuclear Arms race is over despite Trump trying to resurrect it. You simply aste your money after you acquire the capability of destroying the globe once and because the other side has that capability too, it is basically a futile exercise.

the Arms race now is in Air Defence, Submarines, Stealth Bombers, Surveillance, cyberwar and Intelligence abilities, and other things like that.

The race is to build a solid Air Defence System that renders the opponents entire Nuclear capability defunct. The West isn't there yet, but its working towards that goal. Even from a purely defencive perspective, it is the main goal.
