That's the 4th person I've clocked who's appeared on CF and for a first post asked a simple, polite question. Not an unusual way of initially arriving on a forum. Only to be met though by the self-appointed owner/bouncer with a "Bugger off/wasn't that funny fans!" response. Then they're never to be heard from again of course.

Small mercies though I suppose. At least you weren't on your second bottle and doing the usual rant at the time.

As far as rocks go? Well, perhaps better than hiding behind a keyboard and making lots of loud, self important noises.

Look, I can disappear for 3-4 days and then come back and bring the forum back to life after 2-3 posts. It wouldn’t be the first time or the last… I’ve been here for ages!

I think that's technically referred to as "being up your own ass". And - you don't seem to get it. There should always be room on a forum for people from all walks of life with all shades of opinion. If they're met at the door by somebody with your bedside manner though then you can forget it. Speaking of which......

Whatever people's take on the likes of Paphitis and his views, at least he livens things up a bit, as did (the much missed) Tim Drayton.

And as far as my ability to bring the forum back to life being minus goes. You're absolutely spot on. Posting OPs in here with people like yourself strutting around is a mug's game. Perhaps best illustrated with a quote from another Honourable Member: "certain members put him in his place when he started to exert his opinions." because if there's one thing that isn't welcome around here, it's a different opinion.

I have nothing to contribute to this forum because I choose not to. I learned that lesson a long time ago. You have no idea what my debating versatility might be as on the only occasions it's gotten (farcically) close to that sort of thing you've been pissed out of your brains, spraying racist rubbish and random, off-thread stuff all over the place. Frankly, I would have gone a long time ago, because I'm not Cypriot or the cliquey type. Perhaps I've stuck around just to annoy you occasionally? You're certainly an easy wind up.

BTW. I haven't complained about "established members wrecking the forum". You clearly want a nice little cosy appreciative gathering that you can perform to. And I congratulate you, with the odd ballsy exception, upon achieving that. Just keep your eye on that door for any upstart newcomers and tell them to bugger off - not welcome.

Why don't you go and get a bottle of Shiraz? Then you can start ranting about the likes of Hiroshima and how every Brit born bears shameful responsibility for the slave trade and potato famine, etc, etc, etc.
