The message of your post is good and general enough to appeal to how a substantial portion of the population thinks.

But your voice is a monotone, you need to learn how to give life to what you say.

You should join a speech club like toastmasters and learn how to be a competent speaker.

There is a big difference between ''Turkishness'' and Turkish. Cyprus is Cyprus. The difference between the "Greeks" and the "Turks" is very little it seems, but they are quite different to the rest of us, and those of us Greek and Turkish.

In effect, Turkey needs Cyprus Free, an equal, an ally, a regional partner;
as an adversary after decades its clear, Cyprus, Cypriots, (the other half despite the great efforts to deny it) exist.

I watched it at 1.5 speed I am glad you realize that Turkey is using TCs to get what she wants. But the greed of your community is what allows them to do this. Initially Turkey exploited the fears of TCs ... and maybe we could excuse the TCs for that. But since then what Turkey exploits is the greed of your community. The TCs today believe that the north belongs to to them and they imagine that they are the 50%... their greed blinds them to the fact that they are the 18% and north Cyprus doesn't belong to them. If your community stopped being so greedy then we could come to an agreement that would still be very good for the TCs and secure their identity as part of Cyprus and the EU. But Turkey ensures that there will be no agreement by making outrageous demands, while at the same time assimilating your community and integrating north Cyprus into Turkey. The TCs should pray that we manage to liberate our country because if Turkey wins then the biggest losers will not be us but the TCs. A Turkish victory would mean that the TCs would lose their Cyprus / EU IDs and they will be made Turks in a Turkey which is turning more and more Islamic by the day. By then, those TCs who didn't use their Cyprus IDs to leave from Cyprus will be sitting trapped in the north, looking at the free world on the other side and crying.

ha ha, thanks man. Lets hope that we come to an agreement in the near future. I do not think Turkish Cypriots will fully bow down to Turkey. Our community has had a long history of standing up to Turkey. At the end of the day, we are all gods children whether we are Turk,Cypriots,Jews,Kurds,Germans etc. Let us not forget this.

You are being too optimistic my friend, that the TCs will stand against Turkey's demands. The only reason Turkey has not "killed off the TCs" in the north yet, is because Turkey still needs the TCs as "useful Idiots" to have a settlement with the GCs that will give Turkey free hand all over the island.....legally, and also have a free hand in the EU via the TCs. The moment TCs usefulness ends, so will the life for the TCs as we know it.
